I began learning French with Jane sixteen months ago, I was starting from scratch as I had never studied a language before. The hour lesson which I share with three other students are now online, the time goes very quickly. Jane is an experienced teacher, she makes the lessons fun and is creative in her teaching. I think Jane's students are fortunate to have such a gifted teacher. I am delighted to have found JLH Languages and I am pleased and amazed at how I am doing!

I have been learning French for one year as a complete beginner, I am throughly enjoying the experience and gaining confidence, my lesson is one hour a week on Zoom. Jane is a great teacher, making the lesson great fun and very interesting. I look forward to meeting my fellow students each week on Zoom.

Jane is an excellent Tutor, she always makes sure the lessons, even though on zoom, are fun and varied. The texts chosen are usually quite interesting and of a reasonable level to provide discussion between class members within the session.

Highly recommended. I have been learning French with Jane for over a year now and love the lessons. Jane has a creative approach to teaching which makes the lessons go quickly and she packs them full of fun and interest. Jane's dedication to providing engaging lessons means that I get to try new ways of learning French based on evidence based research .... and it works so well. My french is progressing really well and my confidence grows week on week. All lessons have been adapted brilliantly for online learning too. Superb!

Immersive restaurant experience - Have been working twice with Jane now to allow students from my school to be immersed in the French languages, and have always been pleased with the outcome. Students truly enjoyed using their language skills outside of the classroom and discovering more about the French culture. I look forward to organising another visit at The Olive Grove for the next academic year!! Well done to the team!!

We took a group of year 10 and 11 students for a Spanish Breakfast Experience and had a fantastic time. The students definitely grew in confidence having to use the target language in an immersive setting and they enjoyed all of the activities as well as the food and drink! We will be booking to return with other year groups.

I have always wanted to learn French and consider myself lucky to have found such a good teacher! Jane has such passion and enthusiasm for teaching French and it shines through in every lesson. The sessions are very well prepared - imaginative, fun and structured in such a way that they give you the tools to make good progress at your own pace. I really enjoy Jane's lessons and I would highly recommend her to anyone of any ability who is interested in learning French.

Have been taking french with Jane now for about two years. Can't believe I waited all those years before taking it up again. Could not have found a better teacher either in Jane! Lessons are geared to your ability, are fun and always interesting and best of all you're learning to speak relevant french!

I have been learning French with Jane for over 2 years. Our lessons are interesting, fun and varied. I can understand and speak French to a much improved level and our zoom classes work very well. I can’t recommend Jane highly enough
