Bayford Boarding Kennels

I really can't say what they are like at boarding as I have had to cancel my holiday due to a family bereavement. Even with 2 weeks notice they have kept my £100 deposit. I'm sure they could fill the space this time of year. I also agree they should add the VAT to the price as it works out a lot more. They were also the only kennels around who had a vacancy..........

I have been taking my two dogs there for a few years now. It's excellent place to board your dog's and cat's. Well run friendly and carering staff.

only kennels with a vacancy ...suspicious in itself for August. Rude staff who belittle you and act as if they are the dog police although their reviews are not good at all. The staff could not look any of us in the eye and they will do anything to swindle your 100 pounds deposit and try to add extra and no they do not care if you have children they get even more rude !! they do not walk your dog either in the price and you have to take your own dog food..bit stingey ! only chose this place because our usual kennels were full up !! never will I recommend or use this service again. After this experience you will understand why they seem to have the money to own their own grounds and a huge home ...

Absolutely awful-Terrible attitude, and not just on one occasion when calling.I called up to clarify some issues with my dog, as he was quite nervous and asked if we could bring him to visit before the booking and I was told we don't have time for that" and "you should have thought of this earlier

Awful experience! Just the most unhelpful people. Minimal information shared about how our dogs had been. Dogs smelly and dirty. Hidden charges and bad attitude. I would go anywhere else.

Been using these kennels for 30 years and our dogs always come home happy & healthy, you can't ask for more than that. Reasonably priced with lots of space for dogs to run around.

Great - feel happy waving goodbye to my dog placed here - many times.Spacious, clean - and she comes out ‘happy’.

Really not impressed with this place. They are possibly the rudest, most unhelpful and inflexible people I've come across. My dogs came back filthy, plus their bedding stank of urine and was covered in other dogs hair. Also, in my opinion their pricing is unclear, which led to my bill being considerably higher than expected. Won't be returning.

Have been using Bayford for 8 years now, and would not leave my dog with anyone else. Always comes back happy and can see has been well fed. The staff are amazing and extremely friendly and we always look forward to seeing them .With regards to some of the comments regarding pets and bedding being smelly when collected, what do you expect, it’s a kennel and there are numerous dogs there, and it just goes to show how much fun your pet has had running freely in the open, and mixing with numerous other dogs. They do actually have a salon for pets on site, and you are free to have your pet bathed and smelling fresh upon collection should you so wish .Keep up the good work and we look forward to dropping Loulu off to you for her holiday in June !

Left our dog here for 12 nights in August. We're worried and spent a lot of time looking around as she's old and on lots of medcation so wanted somewhere that could look after her.Couldn't be happier. She's come home clean, happy and has obviously enjoyed her time here. Will definitely use again and would recommend to anyone wanted a clean, safe, caring environment for their pets. Good value for money as well in comparison to some others offering this level of care and service.
