Working with Jim has been an absolute joy. He produced 2 demos for me and always seemed to know where to take the songs whilst listening to my thoughts and ideas. He is also an incredibly easy going and gentle person who straight away made me feel comfortable, something that was important to me as a new songwriter. Jim walking into my life (I may have walked into his) was a huge blessing. Not only is he an amazing person but his skills as a composer, producer and mixer are outstanding. I worked with previous producers who didn't quite understand what my project was about. Jim understood my vision because he is a visionary as far as music is concerned and the results are nothing short of outstanding. Jim is an amazing composer and a fantastic collaborator. We worked together on the first short film I directed, and as a result I was nervous about getting everything just right. The experience of scoring the film with Jim was a dream. He was hugely dedicated, and incredibly easy to work with. He took feedback without any ego, and transformed the score in repose to my notes in ways that really took my breath away. Some of the music for the film still makes me cry - and I’ve seen it enough times! I’d thoroughly recommend working with Jim, in every way.
