Taylor Wimpey

Unfortunately we haven’t had a very good experience have left quite deflated and dis heartened after a few visits. Visited to view a house on Thursday which we really liked, all our questions were answered and we were quite excited, so decided to book an appointment for 10:00 Sunday to discuss the part exchange procedure. After taking all of our details, the girl took us to see a different show home. Although this was the same dimensions as the one we had seen on Thursday, the kitchen/diner lay out was different and a lot of the kitchen was cut off which I did not like as I wanted specific kitchen options we had discussed on Thursday which would not have fit. We then found out the house we had seen on Thursday was a Beaumont not a Gosford so they are slightly different layouts. She asked if we would like to see the Beaumont again which we did, but we had to go home and come back after 11 as these were built by a different Taylor Wimpey site. We had another look at the Beaumont which we liked so we then had to arrange another appointment to see the other a Taylor Wimpey site so had to go back a 3rd time, to find out there were only 2 plots available which were both terrace houses when we really wanted semi detached, and as they had already been built we were unable to choose the options we wanted, and we would have to wait a year for a semi detached with the options we wanted to be built. It may seem like small things but after 4 different appointments and a day going back and forth, this really could have been avoided if they had shown us the show home for their site instead of the other sites the first day we came! We thought it would be a nice easy option but have left feeling quite stressed and disappointed, and we haven’t even started the moving procedure yet!

Driven through a housing estate recently built. , shocking quality, a vets practice lost its gable in the recent winds, as the developer had poorly constructed it

Very good estate and nice homes

Just browsing not buying. Nice development. In a good location.

Development is very nice, but the builder is horrible to deal with. I have problems reported a year ago and they aren't yet resolved. Going to financial ombudsman to resolve my issues.
