As a fellow M&E Engineer I was appalled at the service my elderly, vulnerable mother in law was left in over the Christmas and New Year Period. Despite numerous attendances by engineers to diagnose and rectify a simple thermostat/controller fault... no satisfactory solution has been reached. To conflicting information between central offices and field engineers to refusing service when quality of service/workmanship is questioned. No worksheets, no hygiene protocol I.e. shoe overalls, gloves, face masks. The list is endless. I am also a business owner in the in-service engineering business and I would not have a business for long if I or any of my engineers provided service of this standard. Truly disappointed to have to write a negative review for a fellow trademan/business.

Have used BR Gas Services many times over last few years both for gas services and plumbing jobs, cannot fault their workmanship or their work ethics from Anne in the office, Billy of course and to the workers onsite, well done guys, keep up the good work. Would recommend to anyone looking for reliabletradesmen, first class!

BR Gas services have managed to keep my very old boiler going over the last few years. Unfortunately it was beyond repair. We opted for the Worchester combi boiler, the gentlemen that installed the boiler and took the old hot water tank away were very professional, friendly, efficient and tidied up after themselves. They showed me the instructions and talked me through how to use the boiler and thermostate.I was so pleased with their efficiency, service, advice and help. I also asked them to fit a thermostatic shower. They fitted the shower quickly and efficiently and also sealed around the bath for me. The quality of work was excellent.I will certainly use this company again and have highly recommended them to my friends.

Any positive reviews of this company are fake!!! I agree with the other reviewer, the plumbers are total clowns, probably not even legit!. Absolutely clueless time wasters, who turn up late, lie, you'll not get a call out after 3pm coz they're probably off to the pub. Service is a joke.

Br gas Cowdenbeath kwik to respond but absolutely hopeless. Had leaky boiler and constantly losing pressure.So far,5 visits,2 replacement parts, no improvement as yet. Now been informed I need 3rd replacement part but surprise surprise, wrong part arrived. Because of pressure loss I am coming from work to a cold house as timer wont kick in. My job requires me to work 3° temperature, coming home cold and wet I need to be warm. I now have to wait over the weekend in cold for 6th repair. Further to this, my shower has developed fluctuating temperatures while in it. Plumber maintains its ok.Only things this mob have missing is horses and stetsons. Avoid. Get engineers elsewhere that KNOW their doing.Progress report ZERO.Had engineer No.7 attend on Monday. Repaired leak and left. Surprise surprise, another leak and constant pressure loss. New part meant to be fitted Wednesday, no show and no comms after waiting all afternoon.Today, Thursday, 2 plumbers turn up to fix shower temperature ( 4th time) What a joke, shower is cooler now than when they started.I think these clowns are really joiners that have picked up the wrong tool bag and are wanna be plumbers. Because I am a private tenant, I have no say who the landlord sends in. Unacceptable. Please please please call someone else to fix you

re Peter Ward review - exactly the same problem - We had a contract with BR Gas. ~ pressure loss after our annual service. After the second visit refilling the pressure tank we still had a problem, the engineer advised that we needed a new pressure gauge. When my husband suggested to the engineer that he thought the problem was not caused by the pressure gauge, a really horrible and upsetting conversation took place.This engineer certainly did not like to be told he may be wrong. When I telephoned BR Gas I was told that my husband was rude (really!!!) they would not be continuing with our contract. The photo attached is the invoice from another plumber who instantly diagnosed the issue and repaired. Awful and upsetting experience.

Disappointed to see this review. Peter is a valued tenant of Homes in Focus and BR Gas is a very highly rated and competent company that is our preferred gas engineer/ plumbing company.This boiler issue has been particularly difficult to deal with, and, unfortunately, as sometimes happens with complex appliances, it has had to be a trial and error situation.I am disappointed to see that our tenant has left such a negative review of a company that we respect, and that we have instructed. I have personally left them a key to my own house and let them deal with any issue that there has been at my own property.I would ask that Peter Ward's review is looked at with a view that this is a one off case that has been exceptionally difficult. I am more than happy with all the work that BR Gas has done for me and my company for many years and will continue to use them without hesitation.

Recently moved house and had BR Gas fit a new sink/tap in the kitchen. Job was completed without any hassle and works perfectly.They also visited my gran and she couldn't speak highly enough of them.Very professional

Just had a new shower supplied and fitted and cant thank the team enough! Office staff were very freindly, also david fitted the new shower and taken all the old stuff away leaving the place spotless. Happy happy happy would definitely recommend.
