NRG Gym Watford

Very dirty, black mould everywhere and as soon as you step into the building can smell it, it gets stronger as you get up to the gym floor. Not sure how they are still open, this is clearly a health and safety issue that needs to be addressed and reported to the council. The only perk is that it’s cheap flexible and close to where i live. The ventilation systems are full of dust and you can see that’s it’s years of buildup.Oh and the elevator is veeeery dodgy and doesn’t work properly not to mention the broken button which could easily cause a cut

Good gym. Having some offers for winter if you join.Before joining go through the contract and then sign it . I was told that there would be no joining fee by the staff and I didn’t even go to gym but they have charged me the money along with the monthly payment.

Coming here for quite some time now and can honestly say it’s the best gym I’ve been to. From the workers to the equipment and community everything about it makes every workout an enjoyable experience.

I've been a member for a long time. I'm not one to complain, but recently NRG gym has been taking the mick out of their members. Men's sauna (don't know about the ladies) has been broken for at least 3 months. The notice says that parts have been ordered, but it looks like they are being delivered from Mars because its been months! But its OK, at least they don't turn the air con on upstairs so when you go up there it feels like working out in a sauna. This week has been particularly hot, so no air con is an absolute joke. To make matters worse, a lot of equipment is also broken and most of it is extremely old. Lots of old treadmills but only 2 rowing machines. The gym really cares about its appearance on Instagram and appealing to potential customers. Meanwhile, they take existing members for granted with what they provide in terms of repairs. The owners need to step up their game because there is a new gym opening soon in Watford and they will lose a lot of their members. Do better NRG , no excuses, just fix the things we pay for. I always put my weights away and don't make too much noise, but we can only give what we get. And if some members see that broken equipment is not being fixed, it gives the impression that you don't care, so why should they? Less promo codes, more repairs

Probably the most complex and spacious gym in Watford. I fully recommend it to any type of athlete (beginner/intermediate/advanced). Also, Marco is extremely polite and helpful any time is needed, as well as the rest of the staff.

Fantastic gym! Customer care/experience is great. Phil’s member engagement is second to none, always makes me feel welcome. Very reasonable prices and buzzing atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I used to really enjoy training here in the morning but now they just blast strange house music out at top volume and have suddenly started putting the heating on now it’s dipped below 15° outside. The training experience has collapsed considerably. Equipment is also frequently broken and rundown.Note B’s or whatever the female manager is called, her older fella is very aggressive with me and no idea why. Have asked him and got a volley of abuse. Phil is however very polite and welcoming and does a very good job.
