Johnstone's Decorating Centre
I have never been to this store over the years (even though driving past for years!). However my recent first experience was really very positive. I dealt mostly with the Manager (Steve) who was excellent. Well trained in the art of management and leadership suppprted by what seemed like lots of experience. He made it a very pleasant customer service experience. Well worth checking out.

Lovely friendly staff who knows their paint. Very helpful and gave good tips and advice. The leyland paint was easy to use and the soft sheen look is awesome. The quick dry, water based gloss, was so easy to paint my doors and skirts and has a lovely finish. Will call back again and highly recommend anyone to call.

Whilst I was searching for my products at the crumpsall branch in Manchester.A young lady by the name of Briony one of the sales assistants ,could not have been more helpful and she was very pleasent in the way she dealt with my enquiry .Making me feel very comfortable, she was also very knowledgeable and certainly has great customer focus. I even said to her at one point they should have one of you in every Johnstone's branch .Her suggestions from the products you sell ,made it so easy for me to choose and then she had to sort out what i thought was a complicated transaction with the vouchers.I ended up getting all what went in for so thank you Briony

Great customer service. Well trained staff and know all about their products. Make you feel confident in buying. Quality of the paints is brilliant and will surely stick with this brand for a long time. Cant wait to finish the Mural.

Both Steve & Craig gave exemplary service and matched the colour I wanted extremely accurately from a very expensive (read overpriced) brand. I will make this my go to" place for painting and decorating some from now on! Thank you especially to Steve!"

Extremely helpful sales person / manager. There was only one staff member and he served everyone answered questions and gave advice. He had time for everyone who walked in. Definitely recommend this store

I went to Johnstone's to get paint when we decorated our house. Tom and his colleagues were professional and informative, he has a great knowledge of paints and this really helped my decision making. They have a great range of colours and everything you need when decorating. I highly recommend.

You would assume that the brand owner of Johnstone paints would charge you less for Thier products. I was quoted with trade discount £38 for a 5 litre tin of Thier trade stormseal white masonry paint, whilst Thier competitor was offering the same make for £25, only then did they match the price. The paints are good, but watch out" for Thier in-store prices can be "excessive""
