Quiet location that I had to deliver to. A great place for dog walkers, who appear to be the only ones using it. Which is a shame. In the end I delivered to the National Trust office 4 miles away. But for a quiet night sleep….. excellent

Secluded, beautiful location, the approach was on a track, very bumpy. Free, and good walks and views

Very rough surface to car park, not suspension friendly. Stiff walks up to the top, but views across to Grange over Sands and even beyond that were wonderful. Not good access if you are less than sure footed, but well worth it if you are.

The road up is dodgy, but it's nicely shaded and great starting point for a circuit along the beach and up to Arnside Knott before returning to the car.

Access (via steep path) to the lookout. Various other paths. Can use as a base for various short or longer walks. Road/track up to car park very poor in places. But free, even to non Trust members
