I wouldn't do business with them again. They mislead first time sellers and take advantage of the their lack of experience. several of my items were sold and the price only covered their fees with zero amount coming back to me. I will not go back to them again.

Sold me a lot that had been stolen and have not honoured the refund they promised, have not apologised for the poor handling of the theft. Staff don't care about buyers as long as the auction house get their commission. Will never use them again worst auction house I have ever dealt with and that is saying something considering how bad some of the others are.

I have always had great service from Bristol Auction Rooms both as a buyer and as a seller. The staff have always been friendly and helpful and go out of their way to be of assistance.The things I have bought when bidding online or in person from them have always been incredible, a real treasure trove of delights!

Very easy and efficient purchase through online auction. All staff were incredibly polite and cheery on a late Friday afternoon! I had never been involved with an auction before and they had tons of advice for me!Also have some dealings with jewellery valuation (pending) so will update review accordingly but have had great email communication with them.Excited to be involved with more auctions in the future. The amount of items they have is fairly incredible, could do with better photographs though.I am pretty good at photography...just saying.

Appalling service from very rude staff. We were selling and items were lost, staff made little or no effort to find out what had happened to them. The cheque for items that were sold was not honoured and it took a long time and much effort to be reimbursed. Would never use again or recommend

Bad experience , Poor service , rip off fees to both buyer and seller, poor and incorrect description of seller items, do not have sellers interest at heart, do not decribe items well and charge extra fees for taking one small grainy photo of items, poor email communications. No attempt to make things right. Will never use again and hope eBay puts this type of company out of business.

Took some jewellery in (rings) three diamond platinum ring valued by a gemologist waited 7 months because of lockdown ring sold then gets a call to say the ring had a fake stone in it ! We gave them a ring with three diamonds it was value by a jewellery expert!! Now there saying it's fake worst company I have every delt with the management are appalling!! Avoid!!!!!

Always a treat to visit the textile auction. Its great to be able to talk Liz the specialist expert on site and the staff are always so lovely and helpful. I've been really happy bidding online with all the info I need in the catalogue. Would definitely choose this auction to sell through too.

BCVA are a shockingly bad operator and you should avoided them at all costs. They will say anything to a business owner to get the goods, but once they have your goods they simply don't care. They will promise good images will be taken but they don't, they promise good pricing but will give your goods away, and expect to have stock go missing, they're admin is bad and they avoid phone calls and emails, and simply are not honest. AVOID AVOID AVOID there are better auction houses if you need to sell your goods these guys are not one of them.
