Absolutely fantastic company.I called asking for some help changing our kitchen light switches and a fused spur to chrome fronted ones. I thought it might have been too small a job for a company, but I was assured it certainly wasn’t and they would be with me the next working day.A polite and friendly man arrived at the time given and completed the work quickly, even down to the tiny detail of lining up the screw fronts to match each other!They came back out instantly when I thought there was a problem, but with much great embarrassment to me it was my mistake.Have saved their number and they will now be my go to company for any work in the future!

I haven’t actually had the pleasure of anyone coming out, but I emailed this morning regarding a tricky light fixture and rather than attempt to rip me off, Liam replied promptly and gave me some advice! When times are hard and there are dodgy people out there, this really meant a lot. I’ll definitely contact MJ Catterall if I need any work done just based on this kind interaction.

Liam from M J Catterall came out to advise on the job the very same day that I placed a call to the office. He worked with us to find a solution to our problem and was able to schedule the job at a time convenient for us. The work was carried out by Ike who was efficient and very considerate (working round sleeping infants which went above and beyond). All was left very tidy afterwards and Ike was at pains to ensure we were happy with the finished result. I am very happy to recommend M J Catterall Ltd and would definitely use them again.

I would highly recommend Catterall for any of your electrical work. They removed storage heaters and installed Rointe heaters. They are responsive efficient respectful and hard working. Great team and from quote to completion was a quick and painless journey. I’ve used them before and I’d use them again for certain!

Used Catterall’s to carry out some internal & external electrical work a few years back and was really impressed with everything about them. Communication, helpfulness, reliability, quality of work etc. Fast forward a few years , having recently returned to Lancaster, I’m about to re-commence work on our house. Good to see that Catterall’s are still around and that they’ve now expanded into providing plumbing & heating services in addition to electrics. Shall look forward to re-establishing contact with a company I have much confidence in.

I own a care home so when we have a problem, we need a prompt response especially when those with Dementia find 'noise' disturbing. Today, we had such a problem which was with the fire alarm. I contacted Simon and his response, support, knowledge and friendliness was tremendous, I cannot thank him and his receptionist, for answering the phone so quickly every time I called, enough.
