Food was awfull...Tiny fish in loads of batter.. Chips bitty .Peas watery and a total rip off at £ 30..4 small fish4 tubs of peas2 portions of chips1 portion of curry.Used to be fabulous a few years ago.Will never go there again.

Just a quick question, is your batter crispy, is beef dripping used and do you use your batter if over 3 hours old?The batter looks a bit thin in the photos.I'm new to St. Helens and haven't found a decent takeaway yet.

Wouldn't recommend, fish small for the price and certainly not fresh it had that taste you know the one... even the dog refused to eat the scraps, which is very unusual for him! First and last time won't be back.

Woman serving had an attitude and she undermind other staff. There was an awkward atmosphere due to this. Fish was small and soggy and left an awful taste on the roof of my mouth and the chips were the worst I have had, a mixture of soggy and chewy! Awful, never going again!

Great traditional chippy with eat in" available in the back room. Extremely busy with a bit of a wait but worth it as fish is freshly cooked."

Staff were rude, fish was small and soggy and the chips tasted like they were pre cooked the day before.
