St Lawrence Kirk and Cemetery
A tricky one to find as it's down a narrow trackway off the main road. According to the nearby helpful information sign the church may date from the 10th to the 13th century. Modern and older graveyards next to each other. Car park allows easy access although ground in older cemetery is uneven in places. Some interesting headstones to see in older graveyard as well as church ruins containing ancient carved stones.

St Lawrence Cemetery is some way out of the village and only recently added to Google. The old church dates back to 17th century, but is now in ruins. The cemetery is still in use and the details of many people buried there can be found on the website of the Orkney Family History Society.

St Lawrence Kirk and Cemetery
St. Lawrence Cemetery is a little graveyard, still in use today. Surrounded by a stonewall the cemetery lies just a few hundred yards away from the sea. The ruins of the 'Saint Lawrence Kirk' are in good state. A little note informs about the history of the building from its very beginning until today.
