don't really recommend it. some teachers are nice and you can tell they care, the majority of them just don't. but overall it faces a big issue in regards to bullying or harassment amongst pupils. to be fair, some teachers do try. lots of kids vape, fights are common, lots of kids don't know how to use manners, (talking about 11-12 year olds), blah blah blah and it's just mediocre at best.

My child is currently in year 7 after starting in September and loves it. Made a lot of friends straight away and got into the swing of high school life easy. Had first parents evening recently and doing really well settling in. The school have been very understanding due to my other child being at another school and having to start at the same time. The staff are all nice and friendly and have nothing but kind words for my child. I’m glad I picked this school.

This school is overall terrible. The way head teachers approach mental health is so obnoxious and uneducated, they completely ignore struggling pupils and only offer passes for students to walk out of classes alone for a few minutes. When a traumatic event happened they forced my child to tell staff multiple times what had happened and sent them back to class after they were crying uncontrollably, no support at all was given. I was not even informed of this by staff. This is clearly incredibly distasteful and they need to work on a real system to help students, especially year 11. The head teachers at most recommend speaking to online support, they don't truly try and help out students and only do the bare minimum when its necessary for them to or when they actually feel like helping pupils. Do not recommend at all due to many many bad experiences with this school.

Since my son has started this school he had been bullied ALOT. his belongings took off him from other students. Teachers said they will resolve this when i called them and then told my son its his own fault he shouldn't bring things into school!!!!! (A scarf) now because of the school he is suffering with anxiety and has to have councilling I've notified the school to ask for more support for him and guess what NO REPLY. There's only so much I can take, goes on much longer I'll be taking things further I AM NOT HAVING MY SON COMMING HOME EVERYNIGHT CRYING!!!! The school is a JOKE

The school is presented as a good school but In reality the way they treat students is appalling. They do not respect students mental health and do not try and help them with issues they are facing. Most teachers are quite disrespectful towards students and if they confront them the student gets the punishment. There is a lack of communication with teachers and receptionists are quite rude. They are very unhelpful when it comes to bullying and then lie to the parents faces and are no help for students well being. The school needs to be closed down as it is turning into Q3.

When I went to school here it was called Willingsworth High School. Probably hasn't changed much since then. Still a dump. Changing the name won't make it better. Maybe sack a few teachers. The local council sold a lot of the playing field and they built houses on it.
