I just checked to see if the branch was open, I was pleased to say it was. I have travelled 25 miles as my branch has closed! Only to discover it is not open for counter services, staff are simply directing people to machines. Utter waste of my time. Update your information! Maybe time to change my accounts

I've been with a friend to help him with his bank account. Staff was great polited help us as much as they can. At the end he got his bank account and they send us with good wishes.Recommended if you searching a place for your first bank account!Be sure that they gonna sort this out for you!

Whatever happened to customer service? Virtually no staff, the automated cheque pay in took five attempts. Machines don't accept First Direct cards.An don't ever try and register a Lasting Power of Attorney if you have high blood pressure.

It seems other banks in Derby are open until 3pm while virus restrictions are in place, HSBC is 2pm which is enforced with a passion and contempt for customers in my opinion.. Also being the world bank I thought their currency bureau would be open (Natwest, Lloyd's etc. are) but it isnt after queing for 40 min in what looked to be a small que.

Very grateful for the help given by your staff today - very thoughtful, polite and knowledgeable. Successfully set up an Executor's account. Excellent process, fulfilled what I was looking for ..... ensured I had access to online banking and mobile banking. Thank you - great customer experience - I'm going to rethink my current banking supplier.

I wanted to reset my mobile banking on my phone. I was told to wait and was just left for over an hour, no acknowledgement and no one apologised or came to update me. I was seen after 95 minutes and it took less than 10 minutes. They need a quick digital support desk. Loads of the staff seem to be walking around doing nothing and I asked them to tell a manager and they said they were all in a meeting.

Staff removed, machines only. Yes ok i will join the queue of 9 people to merely get to the booking stage of seeing someone. Also why have personal banking machines facing the entrance, the busiest area? Poor layout, poor service. Notts branch so much netter
