Ordered a gas delivery on Monday and was told it would be 7 days. Came back from holiday this evening (Sunday) to find that it hasn’t been delivered and out tank so empty. We have a 1 year old and the house is 9 degrees and no hot water. Awful company

Shocking service. Our tank takes 8 weeks to empty over winter and not allowed to order until the gauge is at 25% but takes more than 3 weeks to deliver! Looking at reviews on trust pilot this is happening to a lot of people. They are letting people including the elderly and those with children run out and be without heating and hot water. I was told by customer services that there was nothing they could do even though the tank was at 1% and it had been nearly 3 weeks since I ordered, we had no delivery scheduled as it was 14 not 15 working days.I wasn’t allowed to speak to a manager and they still haven’t sent anything other than an automated response to my email.Tied in for another year to this shambolic company

High prices accompanied with rude, arrogant and disinterested customer service and that was just the customer services manager. Her attitude was unbelievable and have the email to prove it! Now with a smaller supplier who offers good customer service and prices 14 percent cheaper than Avanti gas.

Would be zero if it could be. Switched to Avanti in 2022, explained when switching I’m a low use customer as I have a log burner so it’s only used for water heating. As such I only use 1 full tank perhaps every 18 months. My first delivery was March 2022, after signing up. Roll on to March 2023 and I ordered again, this was purely as I was just in the first year of contract by 2 days as the company wouldn’t tell me what my next year contract cost per Ltr would be so I felt forced to order early for fear of what price would be.Weeks later there was no delivery but when it arrived it was now actually in my second year of contract (had awful service then too as kept asking what charge would be a told I couldn’t know until it was delivered? And also refused to let me speak to a manger or the accounts team). Anyway, it’s now June and they have decided to review my direct debit and want to increase it by over 50%. They have decided that as I ordered in March I will bring doing so again next March so have based my increase on predicted use. I explained I still have just under 80% left and that will last me around 18 months (have used 5% since March!). However, they refuse to see my individual circumstances as say ‘the system says’ I will order again so I have to pay the 50% extra to cover the order I have not even had. They will not allow me to speak to a manager (I pretty much begged) or accounts as they said ‘they will say the same thing as me’. I told them I couldn’t afford the 50% + increase and could I speak to someone to explain that and they said no. Then they said my call was going in circles so they were going to end it. Obviously I’ve raised a formal complaint but now been told choice a) pay the 50.%+ increase or B) cancel my direct debit and pay balance in full. If I can’t afford it they’ll do an affordability plan and that will effect my credit rating. I feel so frustrated, so badly treated and so worried by what to do. Surely in this day an age using predications of use when someone can prove it’s not based on actually use is not fair!

Here's my experience. Moved in to a house with 2x19kg propane bottles from Avanti gas, called them to find a stockist. Told I had to call the area salesman. Called twice left messages, no return call, third time he answered said he'll speak to the operations man and he'll come back, 2 days later I called him again, said he'll have an answer by lunch, no call. 2 days later I sent a text, he apologised and said he'll come straight back. No response. I called the office again and they said they can't help need to call the salesman?? Given up gone to a different supplier and sent the bottles to the recycling centre.

Simply one of the worst organisations I have ever had to deal with. I have only ever had two orders with them, and they couldn't have made a worse job on both of them. In fact, I am still waiting (5 weeks and counting) for my latest order.They promise text alerts, email notifications in advance of delivery slots. Then they cancel deliveries or just turn up. Which is HUGELY helpful when you need to be in to allow access, and you're in Essex when they ring you outside your gate....Their customer service is UTTERLY DREADFUL, they spell my name wrong on most emails. Promise things then don't deliver, and fail to reply on occasions. I seem to have two accounts open with them too. For some reason.Honestly. If you need gas - do not use Avanti Gas LTD - find another supplier. If you have to use Avanti Gas, stock up on electric kettles and hot water bottles as you're gonna need them!

Shocking Service, ran out of gas for a week during a cold spell and all they could offer was £50 for compensation to try and keep us sweet. Customer service where shocking, their emails are very rude and they have no respect or sympathy.

Please don't be fooled into using Avanti for either domestic or commercial usage. they start with keen prices, but their service is shocking. We signed up 3 years ago on an auto-top up service and they have let us run out 4 times. We have 4 children who need warmth and we are now into our 3rd day with sub-zero temperatures in the property.I also have own a company using many thousands of litres of gas but certainly won't be using Avanti. Go for Flogas, Calor, Shell etc.Also, if you check out their financials their pre-tax profit rose by over 200% from 2020 to 2021. Ripping their customers off, making obscene amounts of profit whilst they treat their domestic customers brutally. Loosing the odd domestic company won't harm them, but if you're in contact with any large commercial users of gas, pass the word on. These sort of companies shouldn't get away with it.

If I could, I would give this company NO STARS. We are on their auto fill up" and pay by direct debit. Have religiously kept our tank readings up to date
