Well have been using Conti Fish Bar since I moved to Blaina last October and never a problem.Always use the website link on their Google ad which takes you to their food hub page.My partner ordered a Burger in Batter and was given the option for salad and sauce.The staff phoned and said we couldn't have the salad & sauce and challenged it because i know the takeaway inputs thrir menu onto food hub. So it must be the manager or owner came on quite rud and quite patronising.You input your menu in food hub so please don't take it out on your loyal customers for your mistake.Good communication skills is a must for working in the takeaway business.

Wow! Ordered cod bites and chips from here this evening, the cod bites were huge!!!! More like 5 small cod fillets. Excellent value and will definitely order from here again. Probably the nicest fish and chips I've ever had. 100% recommend.

First time ordering from here and was really disappointed. We ordered a share box with 2 burgers, large sausage, 2 cod bites and chips with irish. We also ordered a chicken curry with rice and 5 jalapeño bites.The sausage was very pale and not very hot so we were scepticle as to if it was even cooked. 2 burgers were bland. Cod bites also bland with soggy batter. It doesn't taste like they put any salt in the batter. Jalapeño bites for some reason were really sweet and left a taste in your mouth. Now for the chicken curry. It had no flavour. Chicken bites taste like unseasonal frozen diced chicken boiled in water. The rice had on odd flavour to it to but the chips were OK.Just a little disappointing and feel like we wasted good money because we didn't actually eat anything after the first couple of bites of each thing. Once we tasted it we didnt eat any more because it was so bland or simply not good.

Best cod and chips I have ever eaten anywhere in the country at any time in my life. Lovely smiling young lady assistant who makes pleasant conversation. I will use these regular from now on. Licking my lips for the next cod and chips at Conti Fish Bar, Brynmawr.
