We came to this restaurant last year and we made it our first point of call on our visit this year. We had a takeaway last night instead of eating in the restaurant and it was absolutely fantastic. Lovely food and a lovely family. Thank you Masala Swanage!

Food was great - really lovely, but we were under the impression that once we were finished, that we had to leave... now..There were only 6 people in the place (all stuck in front of the window to make it look full).The guests next to us were so close that we became friends in a matter of minutes..No desert menu or any other offering either... Just pay and get out.. strange place..

The waiting staff were really friendly and the food was ok, nothing bad but nothing amazing.The price for some of the items just seemed excessive to me, over £4 for a lemonade and a lot of the curries were over £12 and did not include rice.Nothing wrong with the food or service but just overpriced in my view.

The food was excellent, very tasty indeed . The welcome could have been warmer, but once we were settled in the front of house team became more friendly . The decor did fall short, but the food well and truly made up for it. Overall a very nice experience.

A relatively small and straightforward family run business, reasonably priced for Swanage and very popular. Tables are very close together so you get to know your fellow diners. Curry, naan and side dishes were all exceptionally good, flavourful and generous. Samosa starter was remarkably small however. Service felt somewhat rushed with a high turnover of people - so not somewhere to linger. A wide ranging menu with many special dishes, so lots of choice.

The food was exceptional. It was tasty and great value.Akbar was wonderful , he was cheerful and witty.A lovely family atmosphere.This restaurant is a fantastic find, go there and fill your bellies.
