Lovely walks with trails to suit most. The onsite cafe was lovely for a nice warm drink and a few play areas for children. Some of the views are fabulous.

Plenty of parking and several walks to choose from for an off-lead dog walk. You can do 1.5m to 3m depending on route with butterflies or birds of prey viewing areas. Paths are very good for all-weather walking, so this’d be great in rain or winter as well as summer. We walked the 3 mile Raptor Walk and it was relatively flat, there was one steeper part but it was alright. There were plenty of poo bins (nearer the start and end of the walk, as you’d expect) and the facilities looked good. We stopped at the cafe for a drink which is outside seating with a dog, so nice weather is better…one thing, it did seem quite a small cafe and limited toilets for the amount of car parking and size of park. Nonetheless still five stars as this doesn’t detract from the day.

the best place to take the kids for a cycle or a walk with pups. the cafe is always busy but worth the queue. In December they sell in the carpark the christmas trees and are the best ones ever!

Came here with the children to do the Zog trail. The trail was very scenic with lots of stunning views and things to see. The trail was interactive with lots of thought going into keeping the children active and thinking about their environment. Will definitely return to explore the other trails. Car park prices stop the 5th star. We felt the timing on the car park needs increasing to avoid being rushed.

Great place for everyone. Something for all abilities. Good facilities and very clean and tidy. We did the zog trail, which was £4 per pack. Bit expensive if you have multiple kids, but they could share. The pack contained cardboard wings, stickers, pencil, crayon, and glasses to complete the trail. Parking was £6 for 4 hours. Icecream hut and cafe on site, toilets were clean. We took our dog, and they are allowed off lead if controlled. We also took a picnic and there is lots of picnic tables scattered around the site.

It's a stunning forest with organised paths and a good selection of varying length trails to choose from. The views are lovely, and there are places to sit for enjoying the atmosphere. Family and dog friendly facilities, including playground and picnic area.

We had a lovely walk through the forest following the Zog trail (Discovery Trail) during the summer holidays. There was plenty of parking and despite the rain previously the paths were all mud free and very well maintained. There are plenty of facilities and the toilets were clean and present to use. We've visited before and would come again.

Absolutely loved exploring with the kids around the trails today. We got lost so as the kids decided to go off the trail and went through the woods, over the stream and all over the place. It was muddy and sunny but still beautiful to walk round. We were looking for the Grufalo walk but didn't find it, maybe next time :)We took the dog, and they can roam off the lead. There are lots of dog walkers up there. The kids loved the walk too and afterwards, you can eat at The Ridge Cafe (although far from cheap), the cakes were delicious. All in all, a great place to wonder round, tire the kids out and just take in the natural beauty of the place.

Great trails for beginner and intermediate riders. Cafe serves good food in large portions for reasonable money. Pump track is great for younger kids to learn skills.
