The event was great in there. Regarding to the competition, there's always winning and losing involved only one thing we can teach our kids is that the one who doesn't fall doesn't stand up. Overall great atmosphere

Poor establishment. Attended a competition and there was severe favouritism towards certain fighters. With children being given multiple chances when others out after first chance. Not recommended especially to hear the favouritism was to referees of the event and when the Masters don't step in it comes across really poor. Upset for the kids.

Great tournament. Lots of effort has gone into the set up and preparation. Was fantastic to see the demonstration presented and all the participants enjoying themselves. After reading some of the comments left by some people. I would like to disagree with there conclusions. This is a tournament and the referees are responsible during each match. You have to be competent and understand each specific martial art and it’s complexity before you make such statements. I think all family members want their child to do is win. lol that’s not the idea. Participating is what counts.I did not witness any favouritism. It’s all about the spirit of competing and expanding your knowledge.Good luck to all and I look forward to attending the 2020 tournament.

Attended both the KMAMA demonstration and competition, and honestly cannot explain how impressed I was. The commitment and passion from the students to the sport really shows! The events were run without any flaws and my friends and myself had an amazing time. Would highly recommend going to see an event like this at least once!

Not fair competition at all. Especially sword fight gumbo. Student from wigers was given 4 opportunities to fight despite of losing. But other children were given one chance only despite performing so better than him. When parents complain they said that the list was made previously. How can they give chance to one particular child 4 chances and others have one. When spoken to master Lee he didnt do anything. Other staff said that they are speechless. Why organising such a competition when you cant be fair to all children. Very unfair competition.Come to know afterwards that the child was relative of the referee in black blazer.

KMAMA is a very well run martial arts club. My son attended two competitions, he did not win the first place, not cause the competition was unfair and or badly organised, but cause his opponents practiced longer, had slightly better technique, and simply deserved to win, in return my son learned the importance of constant practice, hard work, bravery and concentration. Once again although my son did NOT win two years in the row, both competitions were well run, well organised and FAIR. I was extremely proud of my son’s progress and valuable lessons he learned. It is also important to note that KMAMA is a combat sport and obviously is not suitable for all!

Competitions are a great way to present to family and friends the techniques and skills you've learnt during your time at mma and it really boosts your confidence. The competitions are organised very well making sure everything is fair to everyone participating.

Kmama should not organise any more competition. Very unfair rules. My child went home upset because of unfairness. They say that they are teaching children to fight against bullying but what about mental bullying? What about children’s self esteem? Masters should be the role model for children but what kind of masters are they if they can’t stand for their own tgms students.Sad that I have to start looking for some other martial arts for my son now because he doesn’t want to go for the classes.

They've organised high profile championships that involved multiple communities and cultures. Everyone was excited, friendly, and supportive no matter which club they train with. The organisers and staff work extremely hard to make each event better than the last: I can't wait for the next one!
