My father-in-law booked his car in as it was overheating. He took it in mid November and had it back on 02/02/23, nearly 3 months later! They made excuse after excuse for the delay.Now he has the car back, the electrics keep failing. He informed the owner of the garage and he said 'prove it' and 'take me to court but you're wasting your time as you can't prove it!Avoid this garage at all costs!"

What a great team. They look after my Yamaha Tracer 900 and my ageing Honda car. Really friendly and having motorbike experts locally is brilliant. Highly recommended.

Terrible service & experience - avoid at all costs.I took my motorhome for its MOT and it failed on a few small things - small bit of welding and a bearing that had a bit of play on it. They took over a month to do the work, and kept extending the time. The most bit is that what they had estimated as being 2 to 3 hours of work jumped to over 13 hours work @ £60p/h with no warning until it was too late. They claim they snapped two bolts and had to drill them out, saying “well what do you expect with an old vehicle”.When I complained, the manager suggested paying cash, so he did not have to pay the VAT!! I presume this is not legal.Then to add insult to injury, the van would not start and they said I would have to buy a new battery to get it running and that I should count myself lucky they did not charge me for having to jump start her when she was in their workshop. It had been a perfect starter until they had her for a month… now the van has issues starting.Having spoken to a number of locals since, I have been told they are quick to fail vehicles on the MOT, as it generates work for them.Strongly advise avoiding this garage as from my experience, it was a very expensive mistake.

Used them afew times for Van rental over the last 4 months. The van was clean and everything was working how it should. Absolutely first-class service. Ben takes you through the paperwork with no hassles. Also takes you to go over the vehicle pointing out known prang areas. All in all an excellent local garage and van hire center. I shall definitely be using again. Hire with confidence......

Horrendous experience!! Car was booked in for mot and service - for which they had my car for 2 weeks and charged an extortionate amount of money for simple fixes that would’ve been half the price anywhere else! Never going back and never recommending.

I would just like to tell everybody about my bad experience with Newcastle Emlyn Garage so you can avoid.After waiting three months for them to fix my wife's car after countless calls to them and not one call from them in three months .They finally got the job done on the 4th of February but didn't let me know I had to call in and notice the car was ready , I had no problem with the work done or the bigger than I was told cost, i was told between £800 to £1000 , I have paid up but after I had paid I was told my dash lights were going on and off but they had come back on and were OK now.I found it strange that they didn't notice that there was an electrical problem before the work was carried out if the problem wasn't down to them.I have had the vehicle back home and the engine was steaming I was told it had been washed after that the electrics on the vehicle have been going crazy no dash lights no clocks working air bags faulting electric windows not working the vehicle was working perfectly electronically beforehand and now I have paid £1315 repair for a vehicle I can't drive still.After speaking to the garage I was told it was nothing to do with them and when I spoke to the owner of the garage he got rather angry stating that it wasn't his problem when I pointed out the vehicle was OK before his garage had it his words were prove it " what a way to treat a customer if you want my advice dont go to Emlyn garage."
