Skipton Building Society - Chester

An older guy in the branch, rather than giving me a definitive answer to 'is my european o/h eligible for this isa' just danced around the point and hinted that he might not because of some random incident with another southern Italian. unhelpful and kind of racist, yay. -_-

Excellent service I took my daughter to open an account here and the gentleman and lady serving us could not have been more helpful.

Absolutely dire service! I went to this branch to open an account. Told by man on the customer counter with Liverpudlian accent to go and wait for 5 -10 minutes while he makes some phonecalls! I approached the other assistant when she was free said she couldn't help me! I took my money elsewhere and if I could cancel my five year account I already have with them I would!! Rule number one of customer service treat your customer with respect!
