Whitegates

We always use Whitegates for short stays and holidays. Our two family dogs are so well looked after whilst there and are always pleased to see Tim and Louise who look after them as though they are their own. A fabulous home from home for our much loved dogs.

Highly recommended Kennels. We have always used home sitters before when holidaying but this time we opted for kennels. We had all our questions answered by Louise and Tim and as our little Cavalier can be nervous they suggested doing a taster one night stay to see how he got on prior to a longer stay. This worked perfectly and we even received text updates during his stay paving the way for a longer summer break. This is a beautifully kept kennels and we was shown round upon visiting and they clearly have a huge passion for all the animals in their care which put us in no doubt that this was the place to have our dog whilst we was on holiday. This will be our go to place in the future.

Lovely owners took great care of our dogs. We have a nervous dog and she settled well thanks to the extra efforts they went to with her. Lovely clean kennels. Lovely grounds for walks. We are very happy to know our dogs are in safe hands when they stay here.

We used Whitegates to look after our dog that will not mix with other dogs and she was looked after very well and made to feel like one of the family, nice people and a very secure pound. Will use them again.

Not a review, as I have never boarded any dog here, although I was one of the staff employed by the then owner (Mrs. C. Smeeton) from 1970 to 1976), albeit that I was employed on a part-time basis. However, I will never forget the 'Rookshill' Cocker Spaniels that were bred here. Anyway, may I respectfully point out that the website referred to on your Google page has nothing whatsoever to do with Whitegates Kennels. It might help if you sorted this error out. People want to know about boarding their dogs or cats not about some Estate Agent in Bournemouth who happens coincidentally to go by the same name.

We had our dog in white gates for 5 days this week we could not ask for a better kennel for looking after our dog it was so clean and friendly and Louise sent pics of him and to let us know he was settledWe will be using them again highly recommended

Wonderful experience. A real find in the local area, clearly the owners love animals. Couldn’t of been more flexible with our requests and will definitely be returning in the future. Can’t recommend the kennels enough.

Very friendly owners and our dogs were healthy and happy when we picked them up. And that is all that matters.
