Used these guys following a recommendation from a friend of mine. The service was outstanding from start to finish. So refreshing to deal with an honest company with great staff. Had a brilliant holiday and will certainly be using them again. Highly recommended!

I booked a camper van from California Campers as a surprise birthday present for my husband, from the very beginning Rob and Chris were so helpful and were happy to answer any questions I had with very quick responses. Once we got to the showroom Rona was so helpful and everything was explained in great detail, we set off and had the most amazing weekend. Thank you for all your help and we will definitely be booking again.

Having just returned from a weekend in Anglesey I can 100% recommend hiring your camper from California Campers! From initial contact Chris and the team couldn’t have been more helpful. They provided a smooth booking experience and a reassuring pick up procedure where every base was covered, from where the chairs are stored to how to utilise the heating system, but don’t worry if you think “wow this is so much to remember” they have thought of this as well by providing you with a scan code to video fool proof guide.The Camper itself was fabulous, with all you would need provided from mini camping stove to get your sizzle on in the morning with bacon butties (an internal 2 burner stove is inside but who wants to smell of bacon for the next couple of hours) to a very generous welcome pack with tea, coffee, a tea towel, mini washing up liquid and a pack of cards.If you are looking for a mini break or even a week away, I couldn’t recommend California Campers enough!

We had a great time camping in Dorset by hiring a VW California Ocean. I really appreciated the service provided by Rob. He is exceptionally responsive and always answers my enquiries promptly through email and SMS. We booked the van for 4 nights. On the morning of the 3rd day, we discovered that the auxiliary heater didn’t work, and causing the control panel frozen, just saying error. We couldn’t get to anything to even put the roof up. I informed Rob about this error and he provided solutions to fix it ourself. Unfortunately, we couldn’t resolve it. Rob continued to find other possible solutions, such as arranging for a technician to come to the campsite, going to the nearby dealer, switching to another camper. In the end, we decided to swift to another camper for our last night. Overall, Rob and Chris were very helpful and provided us with excellent customer service.

What can I say but amazing. Fabulous service to help our camper selection. The team are a joy, professional and very helpful.We took the Mercedes Benz Marco Polo for 3 nights into North Wales. Just the job for the 2 of us. The camper itself is equipped to a high spec being the AMG Line, leather pilot seats, 11inch infotainment system, all electric roof and plenty of storage in the rear.Can't recommend this guys highly enough

I purchased a near new Ocean from California Campers in Telford at the start of this month and can tell you it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.Chris showed me round the van and took all the time I needed to explain what to watch using and looking after the van whilst touring/camping. Because the rent out their vans they know the typical problems a novice like me is likely to experience in the early days and this was invaluable.Rob took me through the paperwork and was extremely helpful in everything that needed to be done these days as it was decades ago we last had a campervan. I found them both to open, honest and sincere in all my dealings with them so if you are looking to buy or hire a camper from them you are in for the best treatment ever.Many thanks Rob and Chris for such an enjoyable afternoon.

This was the first experience for my wife and I in a Campervan and we took advantage of a special offer in early October with California Campers. From the outset both Rob and Brogan could not have been more helpful and friendly. On the collection day Brogan gave us a clear and thorough explanation of everything we needed to know and the van was clean, tidy and very well equipped.Although we didn’t need to use it we were reassured by being given Rob’s mobile number and told that he was available at anytime should we need any help with anything.We had a great few days and on our return our deposit was repaid instantly.We would highly recommend them if you are looking for a great Campervan package at a fair price. We’ll definitely be returning!

I've recently returned from a trip with a Mercedes Marco Polo that I hired from California Campers in Telford.The experience of hiring the van, through collection, usage, and return was excellent. Prices are reasonable and the vans are all top quality products, if you are thinking of owning a camper or just want to have something a bit more than a tent on your travels then I would definitely recommend talking to california campers.

Just finished a a fabulous weeks camper van hire in the VW California Ocean 2 tone down in the Isle of White. Chris and the team are the most genuinely nice people we have dealt with in a long time and nothing was too much trouble for them, including them buying some jump leads to restart our car when we returned the van to find a dead battery. The only thing that out shone them last week was the weatherThe design and usability of the van were great for the space that it is and everything worked as it should.We will be hiring the slightly larger Mercedes for a trip to Scotland later in September

We have just returned from our 5 day trip where we hired the Mercedes Benz Marco Polo campervan. The whole trip was made perfect due to the quality of the campervan. It was so easy to use as a camper and easy to drive that it made it stress free and easy to move from place to place. We took it to the New Forest, then to the Jurassic Coast then visiting the Cotswolds before we had to return it to Telford (reluctantly so!! As we loved it so much).Easy to use the controls and entertainment and information systems using the inbuilt computer system.Bed was easy to set up, although we did not need to use the overhead bed. Had all the gadgets needed to cook etc. Even has the camping stove to use outside if needed.The guys at California Campers are brilliant and have got it right!! Making the whole experience from start to finish, professional, helpful and friendly.Would highly recommend them. They have good incentives too and are always willing to give help and advice on vans to suit your needs.Cannot wait to go out in one of their vans again!Thank you California Campers!
