I came to Ryan as a runner and had never lifted weights before. Ryan was patient and always willing to listen, and I really enjoyed the sessions. He also provided me with a tailor made nutrition plan which was easy to follow and gave fabulous results. I would highly recommend Ryan as a PT.

We wanted to find a PT for our son to help with his fitness, and Ryan's page came up with a lot of good reviews. I'm happy to say those good reviews are well deserved! Ryan has shown great understanding and patience, providing the right balance of support and guidance. The food plan was easy to work with and adapt, and he has provided routines we can do together at home. The results are clear- much improved fitness and stamina, steady weight loss. All round a great choice!

Ryan is the perfect personal trainer. He listens. He is interested in you, your life, your motivations and your goals. I trained with him for 9 months. My initial aim was to regain some of my climbing strength that lock down and becoming a runner stole. Sessions were always individualised and modified at short notice if needed.With Ryan’s help I am back climbing harder than ever and I have stronger legs to power through the miles on my ultra runs. For anyone looking for a trainer with a wealth of experience who provides a personal approach I can not recommend Ryan highly enough. Not only will you achieve great things you will make a great friend.

I loved my sessions with Ryan. He fixed my knackered knees, i never thought I’d get running again, let alone be doing lunges down the street and deep squats but they (knees) work as well as they did when I was 20, and that was a long time ago. Sessions always fun, he really teaches the right form and it makes such a difference. He’s super understanding and positive. A really superb choice!

I have been training under Ryan’s guidance for the last few months. Training sessions have been enjoyable & sometimes challenging but always within what Ryan believes you are able to achieve. Plenty of advice given on training techniques and also a variety of healthy menus to choose from. I’ve seen great changes in my weight, shape & other stats, especially the lowering of my visceral fat level & metabolic age.

I intended on doing 12 weeks at R5 as a starting block, however a long term reoccurring injury got in the way of that, which only allowed me to complete 6 weeks. But in these six weeks alone, Ryan taught me so much, his knowledge about nutrition was spot on and allowed me to start seeing results very quickly. I was given great mobility guidance, and some brilliant technique advice in the sessions. Ryan continued to be very supportive when I got injured, he has now given me confidence in what I’m doing, and motivated me to train consistently, whilst knowing what my nutrition should look like. I’d 100% recommend R5 if you are wanting inspiration and great results!

I can't recommend Ryan and having personal training enough. As someone who was previously going to the gym 4 times a week, I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong, but after 12 weeks with Ryan I can't believe I thought my previous routine would achieve results!Ryan helped me lose over a stone in 12 weeks, giving me back confidence that I'd been lacking for so long. I loved the workouts Ryan designed and found the nutritional plan so helpful. As a life long vegetarian, I didn't realise how low my protein intake was and how that was limiting my progress, Ryan helped me figure out how to dramatically increase my daily intake. That alone has improved my life, I have a lot more energy and I'm full all day long.Prior to Ryan I had motivation to go to the gym, but now I have the discipline to do the work and get the results.

I've been going to Ryan's for about six months now, and have found him to be highly supportive and helpful on my weight loss journey. He provides useful nutrition plans and exercise routines to take away and use at home, and is very good at both making sure you understand how to properly execute the various exercises he teaches you and in providing moment-by-moment tips on how to improve form both during and between sets.
