Bald Baker - Oxgangs Broadway

Treated myself to a chicken curry pie today and I couldn't eat it, absolute rip off. For £2.50 I'd expect more than mush in pastry.

My boss introduced me to this place. While I personally haven't been into the shop yet. I've tried a good few things on the menu for delivery. They're all delicious. The old school cake is fantastic! The wee cake jars are so good too, very fun as there's a mix of everything all the way down. This is my new favourite place for cakes.

10/10 service and 10/10 for taste! Always have a pleasant experience here, welcomed in with a smile & the food is brilliant. 100% recommend.

Very lucky to live just up the road from this unreal bakery. The curry kebab pie changed my life, big big slay. In all seriousness, a truly fantastic bakery with an incredible selection of pies. I intend to sample all of their offering and then move onto the desserts. Bald Baker has become mine and my partner’s hangover cure over the last couple of weeks and I intend to continue the tradition and will be recommending to everyone. When my parents visit from down south this month I will be treating them to a few of the pies!

Been a customer of bald baker since he started in lock down and it’s amazing to see his progression. The shop is outstanding and as for the baked goods wow. My favourite is the Mars bar tray bake, however the old school cake does come in pretty close to a winner. The brownies are soooo gooey and to die for and are paired perfect with a cuppa! The number and letter cakes are baked to perfection with every inch of decoration done to detail! Can’t forget the cinnamon buns, these are a winner (especially for my mum lol)! So much choice for all the sweet tooth’s out there and I must say the white choc chip cookie is also in my top 5! Overall best baked good in the biz, thanks again and can’t wait to see whats next to hit the menu..

Cupcakes for my daughter's first birthday were amazing! So happy with how they turned out- looked beautiful and tasted even better :D We will be back for more treats soon!!

Decent sweet treats at affordable prices. Cinnamon pastry was nice, maybe a little dry. Old school cake is defo old school, nice but nothing particularly special. Very tasty mars bar slice. Cake jar was quite sickly. Little shop. Friendly staff. Slow response on social media but that’s understandable considering they’ve just opened their shop. Fantastic idea with golden ticket giveaway. We went on an adventure trying to get our tickets.

Absolutely love bald baker! His traybakes, cakes are always bought for birthdays/occasions and never disappoint! He also has pies/sausage rolls etc in the shop which come in plenty of flavours! Cannot recommend enough

Lovely pies, recommend chilli kebab. Got given a free pie aswell so big up the lad who done that.

Really love the pies and cakes from here. The best I've ever had from any bakers I've been to. It was a lovely lunch and I'm hoping to visit again soon. Definitely would recommend to anyone.
