So I bought a car from the Armadale branch. The car I seen was a bmw 5 series. I am a fair distance from Armadale so Matthew was really kind and sent me a video of the car. He explained exactly how the car was condition wise. Car was as advertised and finance was sorted out by Matthew which was a great help. I was even picked up from train station. Matthew went above and beyond and I had a great experience and the car is fantastic. Thanks SR Motors

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!I purchased a vehicle from SR Motors and before the sale there was a problem with the abs/traction sensor which Matthew assured me would be fixed upon collection of the vehicle.When I collected the car I drove it home and the next day all of the lights flagged up on the dash again suggesting the wire/sensor had not been fixed. I contacted Matthew who told me to bring the vehicle into the dealership which is a 45 minute drive from my house. The car sat at their garage for 3 weeks and the wire was not fixed, there was also other issues with the vehicle that their garage did not address/fix.I was left without a vehicle for 3 weeks and I am 36 weeks pregnant which was the reason for buying a new car in the first place.Matthew never once bothered to make any contact with me, it was always myself phoning them for an update which was just causing added stress on top of not having a vehicle.There were many other problems with Matthew and Kash however I will not go into detail as they made me feel so uncomfortable and I would not wish anyone else to go through the stress I went through.3 weeks later I ended up having to pay for the car to be fixed myself which is not ideal. I have never had such a bad experience with buying a car before. Matthew and Kash will tell you anything you want to hear to simply get you off the phone.AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!

I bought a car here recently. It was very scratched so I they offered to polished it and looked much better on the collection day. The whole experience was very smooth and ok. Communication was very good.Unfortunately, next day it turned out that the oils from two places are leaking so had to drive back and leave the car. The leakage was sorted. I left in my car my sunglasses with special lenses prescribed so I can see in them and someone stole it! No one will be able to see anything in it so why take it?! Of course no one will ever admit they took it.

I arranged a test drive of a car Saturday morning for the following Monday.After a 3-hour drive, I was told the car had been sold on Saturday afternoon.A 6-hour round trip for nothing is a phone call so hard?If this is what they think of a potential customers I’m glad I dodge the bullet!!

I bought a Citroen c4 cactus from Matthew last month and had a great experience. He was available on the phone whenever I had any Q's, which I think is a really important part of customer service.The handbrake cord snapped a few days after I drove away, which was bad luck ! Matthew couldn't do enough to get it sorted asap and free of charge for me. Really happy :)

Brought an Astra Gtc from this company in late November 2021.A couple of days after (having only drove it the 30 miles back to Glasgow due to having a company van and then getting covid 3 days later) I got the car the clutch started slipping assumed I was driving it wrong but the issue persisted. Around Xmas having only done around 300 miles in the car i took it to my own mechanic and he advised me that the clutch was needing replacing. I then called them to report the issue as under the consumer rights act. I was then accused of breaking the clutch myself and that I should claim try and claim my rac warranty but was then told that because it’s a clutch and it’s a consumable item that it’s not covered under the consumer rights act.I wasn’t looking to have the car fixed free of charge nor was I expecting them to do so. I was hoping they would say they’d contribute to the repair of the car and was told he would get back to me. Never herd back from this company tried calling back and wouldn’t get an answer.Luckily for them the nice folk at the Rac warranty company paid out but still had to put an additional 500 towards the final bill as there was more work required.Apart from this the car has been fine. I Wouldn’t business with this company again or recommend anyone else to do the same. Learn from my mistake, stay away

Bought a BMW 118i in October from here.Sales process was smooth on my behalf, had all details and documents ready to purchase the car. The salesman on hand was Matthew Anderson, upon first meet was a lovely lad. Once the purchase had gone through I was told to pick up the car for a certain date, when the day arrived I was called by Matthew that the date was pushed back. Quite annoying as youve been waiting patiently only to be told to push it back.After picking up the car and taking it back to Edinburgh, myself and my family realised that the headlamp was sweating from the inside, causing corrosion to the back of the lamp plug in. I called and emailed SR motors re the issue and was advised with different solutions. After speaking with Kash he had told me that they had knew about the sweaty headlamp and that he would make sure that the company would replace it free of charge. After being told that the garage they use is in Bathgate and they would try seal the headlamp, I travelled back and forth from bathgate, 26 miles, to only have no positive result.I had spoken to Matthew multiple times on the fixing of the headlamp however no response via email, he had lied to me multiple times.In addition I waited 6 weeks for the V5C to arrive for my car, it hadnt came and when I chased up SR Motors about it they told me it had been sent, after telling them that I know that it hadnt they had told me to spend £25 of my own money to buy a new V5C.If they were clear about these things and told me from beforehand then it would have helped me in making my choice, instead they chose to lie and put off any contact with me. They lied about the fixture of the headlamp and the V5C, wasted my time and money and simply have left me looking like an idiot.If you have made it through this review please be advised to avoid these cowboys as they'll lie through their teeth to ensure that they make the sale. No human decency to tell the truth and wasting my time overall. Very disappointed and will make sure that anyone I know doesn't have to deal with these idiots.
