SK BARBERS - Traditional Turkish Barber

This barbershop is one of the best around. The sign of a good barbershop is, it is always busy! The wait could be long but it is worth it as the chaps all know what they are doing. The price of having a haircut and shave is excellent value for money.

Muzzy was great. Great listening, smooth cut, just got what I needed. Second time I’ve been to this place, both great. They wash your hair before and after.(if you want) And buzz your ears with fire. Strongly recommend.

Really good experience. I will be returning here. And not expensive considering all the attention you get. Friendly staff, comfortable chair. What's not to like?

Since the refurbishment, they have increased their prices and the quality of cutting is inconsistent. At best it's average and at worst it's bad.My last cut there, today, was bad. The barber, took double the time and charged me £20 for a clipper cut, of the same level and a tidying up of my beard. The cut was so bad that when I got home, my wife wondered if my beard had even been trimmed and whether the shape up was straight. On my previous visit, a month before, a different barber charged me £13 for the same cut...if only I had gone to him.I will not be going back here, there are plenty of other barbers to choose from on Brentwood and Shenfield High Street.

Came here as my normal barbers was closed, guy named Diego gave me a skin fade, but I got to say it was very surprised by the level of quality of cut, easily best skin fade I’ve had

I visited S-k traditional barbers. I live in Hamble and normally travel to Shirley to visit a Turkish barber. Not any more thanks to Norman at S-K the owner.So to set the scene. I don't have much hair so it never takes long to cut my hair, but Norman was sympathetic, professional, the decor is like a gentleman's club, classical piano music, hard not to fall asleep.I had a cut throat wet shave, haircut, eye brow shape, ear trim, nose wax, hot towel, hot and cold skin treatment, an olive oil coconut product like a hair spray. All for a very reasonable £32. Obviously I can just get a hair cut for a lot less, but boys this has always been my guilty pleasure, it just got more pleasurable. Thanks Norman can't wait for my hair to grow to see you guys again.

Great barber shop, very skilled barbers but the prices are getting a bit high. And no card payments.
