Willie and the Forth Plumbing Solutions team recently refurbished our bathroom. They carried out all the refit professionally and to a high standard at a reasonable cost to ourselves. They protected our flooring and disposed of the old bathroom, turned up when they said they would and left the site as clean as they could. This is Forth Plumbing Solutions second job for us and I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends. I will use them again should we require and further plumbing.Caroline Dodds

Over the past few years I have had Willie and Stuart in to do various plumbing jobs, and recently I had them fit a new kitchen and also a downstairs cloakroom.The quality of their work is outstanding. We have called upon Forth Plumbing Solutions on a couple of occasions in the last few months. The services offered by William and his team have been first rate, from call-out to completion. Being new to the area I was unsure of who be best to use for plumbing requirements. We email a few places and only two people got back in touch. We were glad we choose to use Forth Plumbing solutions as they provided a amazing quote, had an amazing response, & even though we had a little issue regarding parts and having to come back out to finish the job , they accommodate us and dealt with the situation professionally.. Willie and his staff recently replaced a WC for us. All the work was carried out with complete professionalism and to the price quoted. On completion of the work his staff tidied up and left the place clean and tidy. All in all I would thoroughly recommend his company and would certainly use them again for any plumbing work required.

Very happy with Forth Plumbing Solutions. As a first time customer, I was delighted that they came when they said (the morning after I contacted them). They were polite and efficient and certainly fixed the problem. The billing was clear and simple and very reasonable. They will definitely be our first port of call for any future plumbing jobs.

They worked very hard to ensure that they complied with my wishes and kept me up to date on all aspects of the work and its progression. I am very pleased with the result. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!Hiring Willie Malloy/Forth Plumbing & Joinery is the worst decision I made when undertaking my refurbishment work. I contacted him based on the numerous excellent reviews he has however what I experienced is nothing like what is described online - in fact, it couldn’t be further from it.Job was to install 2 bathrooms, kitchen and doors.1. He has no idea how to read building warrant drawings. The errors he made could potentially cost £5k+ to rectify.2. He refuses to communicate with any other trades people in order to get a job done properly. He did jobs like boxing pipes in without electrician having done his work. On several occasions he outright refused to contact other trades and insists on a 3/4 way conversation to pass messages or ask questions.3. No understanding on how to fit a Howdens kitchen. Ignored the drawings Howdens provided and cut panels (shouldn’t have been cut) which then needed to be replaced. Then had the audacity to say I should be grateful that he went out of his way to pick the replacement up.4. He claims parts of the kitchen are missing - I had to supply additional pieces, only to then find unopened boxes at the end of the job.5. Once kitchen units are in he claims first that neither the microwave or the oven fit. It takes my father to go and tell him what to do to get it sorted - something any qualified joiner could have done.6. After completing the kitchen, he removes all protective film from cabinets before painting started. We had to buy more to protect everything.7. Recommended plasterer to do the plastering work. Quoted £1750, kitchen £500 of that. He does the kitchen then asks for £1000. Willie suggests I pay this as gesture of goodwill before other work is done. Plasterer fails to turn up on next 4 occasions, then wants to increase the cost, then that the work was too much for him to take on. Says he can’t work for 2 weeks. Had to arrange another plasterer then I have Willie suggest I need to take legal advice. Willie phones me at weekend when plasterer was meant to turn up (having given him his keys) informing me he is concerned the plasterer “might do something” and goes on to suggest we get round to the property urgently in case the plasterer has stolen any of the electrical appliances there. When asked if that was a genuine concern, he said yes!! And this was a plasterer he recommended for the job.8. Goes out of his way to be difficult. Promised he would take pictures of certain things for warrant sign off purposes then says he didn’t do it - not that he forgot, he simply chose not to bother.9. Quote included tiling bathrooms. When it comes to actual tiling, he complains that brick effect will take longer and will therefore cost more (common theme - he tries anything to add on extras).10. Tells me to order a specific item for tiling (square edge trim) then when it comes to using it he tells me it is wrong. What he actually needs is straight edge trim.11. Made up words/terms that don’t actually make sense. Eg tells me I need to order a bulkhead (when actually he needs the worktop for a bulkhead) and when he wants backboard for kitchen he says I need to order multiple splashbacks - completely different things and errors which could be costly ordering and delivering.12. All supplies in the property right for months (skirtings/doors) - and were constantly trampled on and were damaged by the time it came to fit them.13. When fitting door closers, he damaged 4 of the 5 new fire doors which look unsightly even when painted. This has ruined the appearance of the doors which couldn't be fixed without entirely replacing.14. Claims he can’t make one of the doors work as a fire door. Blames the door closer and says it's a manufacturing fault. Then changes his story and says that the closer isn't designed for that type of room. It took me 30 secs to see what the problem was and it was fixed in about 20 minutes.15. Hinges, door locks and skirting were fitted in such a shoddy manner. Absolutely no attention to detail and require further repair.

I have used Forth Plumbing Solutions on many occasions and have been extremely pleased with their service, prompt call back and scheduling, turn up as arranged, quality, professional work for a very fair price. I definitely recommend Willie and his team.

I would advise people to ignore the 1 star.....Willie and his guys fitted a bathroom & En-suite professionally & to a high quality in September 2020. Additionally, due to delivery issues relating to COVID & a failed supplier the dates we had agreed with Willie came and went which was our fault. Willie & his team worked around this issue for us going above & beyond what i would have initially expected which we are incredibly grateful for. I have followed up with Willie on a couple of questions since then & response has always been immediate & on point. Great guys & would highly recommend them for this type of work.
