Amazing pies and desserts. Came from Canada and I would travel back to England for these pies! Friendly staff, and delicious food at great prices. Can't be beat!

Lyn supplied a brilliant cake for our bowling event. It was decorated as a bowling green with a bowler and bowls on the top. Everyone at the event was amazed at the quality of the decoration and many of the participants commented how lovely the cake was. Not a scrap was left at the end of the day.I highly recommend the Bake Shed for that SPECIAL CAKE

Found this place via Google. We had filled roll.. lovely hot pot pie & various cake snacks . Everything absolutely gorgeous.. lovely friendly helpful staff . We will be taking some home tomorrow for our trip home to Derbyshire

Visiting local bakers when walking Cumbrai Coastal Way and this place was worth the minor detour.Pasties and pies were excellent.

A great bakers with fantastic pies from Higginsons. The sandwiches are delicious and the staff are super friendly.I regularly come here when I'm visiting from Durham as the pies are so good. The Chunky Steak is full of steak, sometimes you'll get the occasional chunk of steak the size of a golf ball which is juicy and just drops to pieces.I love the variety of sweet stuff and sale, and love picking something different every time I come. Well worth a visit if you're after something to eat.If you're after a pie, just make sure you don't leave it too late as they sell out quick!!

Lovely pies and sausage rolls. But I asked for a piece of coffee cake as they were a good size and the lady cut it in half so small I did not want to buy it. I just feel they should display the cakes at the size they sell them.

I went in person to The Bake Shed and ordered an afternoon tea for two to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday. The ladies were very helpful when discussing the food. It was delivered on time, the quality was excellent and the food was utterly delicious. I highly recommend The Bake Shed to anyone.
