Blank Studios

Absolutely amazing place. I'd instantly recommend the studio, but more than that, I'd recommend John, our engineer and producer, and he did a bit of musical magicianry. The best studio I've ever been in, and I've been in one.

Have used Blank Studios for about 2 years now and it's a great place to record. Relaxed but in a good way which means you can work better when you're there. Great engineers, everything we have recorded there sounds spot on! Definitely recommended.

I have recorded at Blank Studios a number of times over the past few years with my previous band Crooked Hands. We have recorded a live session at Blank and also worked on our EP with Chris there. Blank studios know that every project has different requirements and because of this Chris was extremely flexible and accommodating towards our schedules and requirements. He is a very knowledgable engineer/ producer and has some great ideas regarding arrangements and sonic details. He has a wide knowledge of lots of different styles of music and always respects the bands vision whilst also providing his own take on the project/song. The rest of the guys working there that I've interacted with seem very similar and always seem interested and passionate about projects they are working on. The studio has a great atmosphere, great equipment and I would recommend it highly to anyone who is thinking about recording a single/EP/album or live session.

I've worked here sevaral times with Chris and have always had a great experience. the guys have worked very hard with what is a relatively small space to make the very best of this building.Chris is always very positive, relaxed and easy to work with and really knows his chops. The studio itself has a wide range of equipment to cater for all tastes and requirements. I've recorded here live with two bands as part of the Blank Sessions (including Zealots) and have also recorded here several times multitracking individually.I've heard a wide range of bands, artists and styles produced in this studio, each time the recordings are very complimentary to the sound of the band.Can't recommend it enough, the best studio experience I've had in Newcastle and I'll be back soon!Graham - Zealots

Can't recommend Blank Studios highly enough. As a manager of numerous artists we've built a great working relationship with the studio over the years. They work alongside each artist and ensure that they deliver quality that everyone is happy with every single time. They are the only people I'd ever go to in the toon for recording.We promote Newcastle shows under the name Leave Me Here and have used blank loads of times for live sound and they always produce a good quality and professional service all in all they're mint!

Our absolute go to studio. Responsible for recording of most of our releases. The guys here really understand the vision of our artists, no matter how niche.
