Alterations to clubhouse since I last visited have made it more inviting. Staff are very pleasant, polite and helpful. All in all a very pleasant experience.

David the pro and his lovely family will give you the warmest of welcomes when you arrive. Never have I felt so welcome. I'm a disabled golfer which brings its own challenges and never did I feel like I was any different to anyone else using the course and the driving range...The bar staff are also so friendly and I really enjoyed playing this wonderful little course.Can't recommend a visit more to this little gem..

Took a wheelchair user to the driving range last week. He was unable to get his chair through the door to the range as it did not open fully. So, we went round the side which was slabbed steps. We managed to get it in the end and a good time but I felt it was undignified.Is there any future plans to make the range wheelchair friendly?

Regardless of whether you play golf or not, the club house is a great place to stop for a drink, especially if the weather is good, where you can sit outside and judge the teeingoff! The coffee is great and reasonably priced compared to others not too far away. Recently acquired new carpet and furnishings and is doing really well. Also now doing regular functions, most recently a successful casino night.

Great facility for any celebration, easy to get to it, located in scenic surroundings, our fun casino set up worked really well.Manager is friendly, professional and lovely, she made our visit unforgettable ❤️

Was recommended by friends as the chef was at the former Saracens Head, Shirley - glad they did as I would have thought this golf club bar / cafe was for members only… great spot, super friendly and excellent brunch / lunch food!!

Great course (thumbs up greenkeepers), but diabolical administration/customer service. First call to book there was no answer, second call told to book online for cheapest price. When we arrived and went to sign in they had no record of our online booking, luckily I had the booking confirmation handy, only to be told they'd just sent some members out for the tee off time we had booked! To say I was annoyed was a bit an understatement and didn't set me up well for the start of my round. If you are a visitor be wary of the online booking system. They clearly don't need to rely on visitors which is why their systems are so poor. It wasn't a one off either because the last time I played there was no record of my phone booking either. Hopeless.

Lovely clubhouse with very friendly staff. Course is 12 hole (replay 6 for 18).I really like it and it has matured a lot since I last played. Some really interesting holes.Favourite place to play at the moment.
