Turkish Bath Hamam

I've been using this facilty for years. Brilliant place to have a chilled day. From the greeting as you enter to the steam, scrub, wash, dry then amazing massage. Mama is the best. I felt like a shiny new button. You must visit. 10/10

Went in for anti stress massage. Great experience. Instructed me to use the steam room first. Then they scrubbed me with foam. Then the actual massage took place. Cracked my back too. Overall I would recommend. It's good value for money for £65. Advice is to leave plenty of time. I was in there for around 2 hours. Bring your own shorts (preferable with pockets) and towel. They give you locker. Keep keys with you at all times. I will go there regularly now.

It’s a clean establishment. Went for the Aroma package which I was told is about 2 hours. It’s men for men so no issues with anything haram. First you go to steam room for about half an hour, then you go out when the lights go out, but be careful because it’s pitch dark and you don’t want to be slipping in there. Then you have the scrubbing/peel. I felt this was not that amazing, it only covered my legs, neck, chest and back, arms - things like my feet and face were missed from the scrubbing/peeling which was a shame as didn’t feel complete. By the way you can ask for the mitt so you can scrub your buttocks and genital area. So after the scrub/peel you get some soap with some hard bits which I’m guessing is the exfoliator all over body and a quick hair wash. The scrubbing and peeling bit I felt could have been done more without a rush and more attention to detail. Then you are asked to cover with towel and rest on a sun bed for a bit. You are offered cold water. Then you go for the massage, massage by Mehmet was good with some back cracking and neck cracking. Massage part of this was actually good, can be firm with pressure so just let them know how firm. There does seem to be a language barrier with most of the staff but Mehmet understood enough. Overall 2 stars rating doesn’t reflect on Mehmet, just overall satisfaction, don’t feel 100% scrubbed etc as some reviews have said. It’s a case of now going home to do a scrub myself to feel complete, which is a shame. I spent about 1 hour and a half there. So if 30 mins steam room, 30 mins scrubbing and peel, 30 mins full body massage - all the sitting, relaxing, scrubbing I did myself, changing etc - somewhere, something was cut short right? Oh and you have to bring swimming shorts and a towel. Although if you don’t have a towel they will offer you this very lightweight black cloth.

Amazing experience, scrubbed and massaged within an inch of my life, but so worth it. Skin feels amazing so soft. Staff are super friendly as well. Definitely will go visit again.

It is a nice place for those who have not seen the real Turkish bath. Bath glove was awful and not the original one. Normally it’s bigger, black and more effective while peeling. No towels at the end and everything is extra charge. It was clean and the massage was good that’s why I gave 2 stars. Definitely not worth the money paid.

Lovely experience, felt a little rushed, but felt so relaxed and had a great time. The olive mask and mud masks were great. The ladies were fun, friendly and skilled. Lovely idea for a hen do!

This was meant to be a special day treating my friend. First of all it’s only cash which was only mentioned when we got there. Everything else was downhill…I wouldn’t return. Was rushed and the scrub was 5 mins, not clean, unprofessional by way of shouting and not worth the money whatsoever. I want it to survive but they need to buck up and offer a genuine service.

The Homerton ladies, have been coming to this Hamam for a good few years now. No other sauna compares, the facilities are very clean and the staff are like family.Mama is the best for scrubbing, she takes her time and makes sure your happy, I absolutely adore her.Sumbil is my masseuse, wow no words from head to toe any package, you come out the place floating.As women we need to treat ourselves, we work hard, once a month we come to distress and its the best.
