Sheridan is just excellent. Absolutely my type of person!! So lovely and simultaneously professional and warm, Sheridan could see I was evidently nervous and doubtful that this dress would ever fit properly due to being very top heavy, after multiple visits and hours of work Sheridan was able to get the dress exactly how I wanted, she used great humour and calling a spade a spade to put me at ease every time we visited, I owe her a wine or 12 - thank you lovely xx

Sheridan's Alterations
I went along to Sheridan’s aAlterations today only to find a notice on the door that reads ‘By appointment only’. I rang the number on the door to make an enquiry about having my dinner suit trousers shortened. A very rude woman on the other end of the telephone initially hung up on me before I could explain what I wanted. I rang back and this time was able to speak but the same person was extremely curt and suggested I look on the shop window. That didn’t help as is said Specialist in wedding alterations. It didn’t’ state ‘exclusive wedding alterations. To my mind and that of any intelligent person I interpreted that as meaning, yes, they specialise in wedding alteration but do other alterations as well. As my dinner suit is for a soon to be wedding, I imagined Sheridan’s services would be just the place. Wrong! Check the website which states ‘clothing alteration services’. One would assume this includes trouser hems that are hardly different from dress hems. So, to that very rude and curt person who answered the telephone, please take a course in ‘Customer Service’ and remember, it costs nothing to be polite!
