Rule & Rule

Rule & Rule have always had an excellent reputation on the island and we as a family have used them on more than one occasion. The latest, even though it was in sad circumstances, was when they dealt with the sale of my late parents home. They were highly professional from the very beginning, from the initial meeting, listing the property up until completion. Always kept in contact with updates on the sale and progress and everyone was very caring. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and instruct them again in the future.

Head and Shoulders above the competition in the area. Professional, quick and honest . Fees were pointed out from the very beginning and everything they said they would do…. they did without a fuss or drama. Well done Rule & Rule, I will be using you again for ALL my purchasing/ selling needs.

After booking two viewings last weekend, the communication was poor. No phone call to confirm like promised. Waiting around as estate agent was late.No call back for feedback on properties we viewed.Took ages to answer phones.2nd weekend we booked to view one more house, unfortunately that was with them and he said he would phone me back once he knows he has the keys.I didn't hear anything surprise surprise. A lady then phoned and asked why I wasnt showing up at the house!!? Said we would be 10 mins and she said the estate agent would wait. By the time we arrived he had gone! 5 minutes it took us from phone call to driving where he apparently was. It would be handy if we had an address and was told it was definitely okay to view absolutely useless and rude.Unfortunately this experience has now put us off viewing other houses that are managed by rule and rule.

Not professional,DO NOT RECOMMEND.Moving house is an extremely stressful time as everyone knows. Rule and rule made it even more stressful, lack of contact, we was constantly chasing them,not professional when they did make contact.No matter how competitive their agent fees are it's just not worth it.*I hope this helps in response to your reply.

I've known Mark Cross since buying my home from him in 2008 & can confirm he is one of the good guys in a profession that often gets a lot of stick. More recently, I've completed another purchase through him. Despite a number of external complications, his great tact, honesty & patience got it over the line! Beyond that, his knowledge of the local market is second to none - thank you Rule & Rule!
