Cockwood Harbour
Not a swimming hole by any means, but picturesque & a famous railway photography location. Trains run across the harbour wall to the left of the photo. Weather wasn't great when I went there!

Lovely place to just sit and watch the boats doing their thing. If your lucky you will see the kingfisher. But also lots of different birds too. Two local pubs so a jar in your hand as well. We did fish and chips too.

A nice place to stop to eat when cycling on the cycle path from Exeter to Dawlish. You have a choice of 2 pubs. Just make sure the tide is in for the best views!

At it's finest when the tide is in but looks good in the sun with not much water. A couple of pubs to choose from - one hidden around the back.

The Ship Inn - just around the corner from the main road. Amazing lunches there, friendly staff. Lovely seating outside on the side of the pub.
