Five Star Nails

got french tips done, however the way the guy did it was very abnormal. instead of using a fine line brush to create the shape, he just painted half my nail in the colour and shaped it by using a thick short brush dipped in acetone. it ended up leaving my nails with colour streaks, the line was jagged and polish mixed with acetone in the cuticles (which weren’t even pushed back). also my nails have bubbles in them, something i have never seen or had before and they’re quite noticeable. there’s no standard of cleanliness and a lot of the polish on the displays have separated. i only went here because my usual place was over booked but i wouldn’t go again.

Well where do I start iv been coming here for 19 years and today was told they don't want to do my nails anymore because I'm apparently to fussy. Well if they did their job properly I wouldn't be so fussy. Wonkey filing uneven finish and rushed. Then to add to it the owner PING is a rude obnoxious discriminating horrible person who blames the customer for everything that goes wrong with your nails breaking or shellac polish chipping after 2 days. Gave her a piece of my mind this morning. Safe to say I won't be going here ever again

5 months later after having my nails done here and my nails are still breaking every other day. The technician filed my natural nail down so much they have 0 strength left and haven’t been able to grow at all before breaking. Please for the sake of your nails DON’T go here!!!

The older guy did my nails he was so professional and gentle I beer had my nails done like this anywhere accept Harvey Nichols ..which I use to go regularly when living in London ..I highly recommend him he has worked there for years .. I forgot his name but thank you

Horrible service. Customer service so poor especially the one with short hair. I went for a simple shape and nail polish, however even this was done at a very poor level as my nails have chipped already. The nail polish they had were so old and is in desperate need of an update! Dirty work areas and equipments used were not cleaned at all!! I don't know how this place is still open for business. Never again and would not recommend anyone to come to this filthy place.

I have been going here for years but my experience yesterday was awful. Even though I called to make appointment they left me sitting for 20 minutes waiting. Hardly soaked my feet at all. No bubbles or anything. Very rushed and rough job on my feet. Also the lady told me my feet were dry and took dryer away and as soon as left the shop I could see they weren't dry and smudges appeared. Very very poor job.

I didn’t like the way she did my nails. I went for a shape I don’t usually go for but I thought I would Try it out. My nails are too Bulky, they are different lengths. She cut me a few times and she was very heavy handed, pulling my hands around. I’m just not happy with my experience there I won’t be going back there

OMG this place is filthy has has no sense of hygiene.They use the same cotton to remove your soak off gel, they do not have their instruments disinfected in alcohol ( barbers site) even more prone to infection and spread of germs. Rude Boss and the place stank.

Workmanship was gr8 but level of cleanliness has totally gone amiss. All around the shop there were surfaces that had not been wiped down in a very long time. Very unfortunate. Will not be coming back

This place is amazing!!! The staff are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to accommodate your needs! I went to get acrylics done for my birthday, the woman there was super helpful and helped picked the colours down to the T! The nail technician is like no other, he knows what suits your nails and makes it look amazing!! I asked for swirly nails and he did it perfectly. The place is extremely clean, I can see why they're called 5 star nails!
