Green Dragon Inn
We only visited to attend a family function so I feel it would be unfair to base my review on this alone. Fair to say it is a family friendly place and all are welcome, we did queue for drinks and waited a long time just for a cup of tea. Try it yourself is the best way to judge it.

The pub has several rooms, from a quiet drinking room, to a larger group room and a room with a pool table. The staff are friendly and helpful, and are a pleasure to talk to.There is a great drink selection and a wide variety of food to order.They have lots of vegetarian options available with some dishes able to switch meat for Quorn.They also do delivery here.There is, despite the name however, no dragon here.

Room is a nice size to hire.Bar in room was not being used ,just the main bar area.Buffet was very nice. Clean, room well decorated for the party .would recommend.

We were there for a funeral wake and the food was very good . The girls who were serving behind the bar were also good . The only minus was it was'nt very warm in the bar area and as it was a very cold sniwy day a bit of warmth would have been nice

We went today for a Sunday lunch, it was really delicious. And very reasonably priced, the staff were all very helpful and friendly. There's a huge beer garden and a couple of function rooms and loads of tvs to watch sports on..

Considering it was as a family our first visit,we went for Sunday lunch. The staff were above friendly and very receptive. The food was very good and plated up well. I am vegitarian so I was told in advance that because these meals were prepared to order there could be up to 25 to wait which was fine because we sat and had a pre meal drink and they timed the meals to all be brought to our table together.Highly recommended and excellent value for money.
