Take A Bough Tree Care

TABtrees did an excellent job in our garden. They reduced the height and thinned out our olive tree and also thinned an acer. They were on time and completed the job efficiently and tidily. We chose them as they seemed very knowledgeable about trees and we weren't disappointed. We'll definitely be asking them back when needed.

The person who did the quote did not brief the people who did the work properly. The work done was not what was agreed and was substandard, I suspect it was rushed due to rain. My tree now looks absolutely horrendous, every morning I open my curtains and see it's skeletal remains and feel racked with regret.Upon raising my concerns I was met with apathy. The invoice later came blithely saying 'they hope we are happy with the work' and 'hoping to work with us again in the future', after I said in no uncertain terms I was unhappy. Read the room...Wishing I had gone with one of the other more expensive quotes.Edit 1:Just in response to the disingenuous reply from the vendor for anyone deciding to whether to favour this person with your business. The person who gave access was my partner who also lives here not some random stranger and this had been discussed together at length between us.Someone did indeed come and knock on the door saying that it would look bare, which seemed logical if the tree foliage was being trimmed back (at no point was he asked to come down, this is just an out-and-out lie) and he did in fact come down of his own accord to alert the team to more favourable parking spot opening up and they said nothing about what they were planning or that they were going to go against the brief. We were explicit during the assessment for the quote on the day itself that we wanted to keep the shape of the tree and just trim it back.What we got was the tree basically cut in half, a method I now know to be called topping, which is considered to be bad for the tree and not recommended.

Toby and the team did a terrific job in sensitively reducing our silver birch and large pyracantha shrub. They discussed everything with us, worked really efficiently in a confined area and carefully cleared up afterwards. Highly recommended.

Great service by Toby and his team to remove ivy which had overgrown my place. Responsive and great communication from quote to end of job. Thorough and tidy work. After finishing the work, they cleaned the working area and my garden - tidier than before. Would highly recommend Take A Bough.

Toby is incredibly knowledgeable, professional and efficient. He responded to my initial enquiry promptly. On the day of the job he and his team arrived on time, they were all incredibly friendly and polite, they worked quickly and removed all of the tree debris. I could not recommend them more highly.

I came across Take a Bough when they came to sort out some very old and overgrown trees for a neighbour. The team were amazing to watch and very professional and friendly.I was so impressed I asked them for a quote. Toby came around and was very approachable about what I wanted to have done and advised where necessary. He sent me a quote and a date was organised.Another team came on the appointed date and we're very friendly and total experts about their task. Fantastic service from Toby and team from initial consultation through to the end of the job.On the day we had 3 large trees pruned, the team took great care to protect the pond and plants in the garden. The three trees are now a lovely shape and I can’t get over how well everything was chopped up and taken away, not even a leaf left on the lawn.Would thoroughly recommended
