Wildes Cheese
If you like cheese (and who doesn’t) you will love this place! Philip and Keith are great guys, really engaging and fun - we learnt about cheese, ate some great cheeses they have produced and then had some training before making our very own Mozzarella which we took home. Thoroughly recommended!

Keith and the team were amazing!!!We contacted Wildes Cheese to help provide us with cheese for our wedding. From day one were we went to try the cheese, to the day of the wedding when Keith delivered the final product, the service provided was fantastic.

I received a cheese-making course as a present. I love cheese and expected an earnest experience, especially from a company that is known for its ethical values. What I didn't expect was a hugely entertaining day. The guys at Wildes don't take themselves too seriously, only their cheese. The humour, the fun and a sprinkling of music - which help the cultures turn milk into cheese ;-) - was not at the expense of the education. At times they seem to try and hide it, but their warmth and generosity, along with an obvious passion for cheese, shines through. That the 12-strong group doing the course were a lovely mix of people added to the enjoyment. As well as getting stuck in, making our own cheeses, there was some time to chat and we got to (depending on your appetite) eat/sample a variety of cheeses throughout the dayI came away with a bag of my own made cheese and a feeling of joy.If you love cheese you'll have have a brie-lliant (sorry!) time on this course.

Fun, entertaining & quirky day doing the cheese-making course, hosted by Philip & Keith. Cheese: learnt a lot, ate a lot, and brought a lot home. Would recommend for something a bit different

I went to the Cheesemaking full day workshop at Wildes. It was a fabulous day and I'd do it all along. We learned to make two hard cheeses - one white, one blue - and a French cheese. Philip and Keith are wonderful teachers, patient and funny. We worked in pairs to make the cheese, had a fantastic lunch and a cake and tea afternoon break - worth the price of admission. I learned so much. Highly recommended. (And we'll see how my cheeses do after they've matured! )

Extremely poor customer service. Will never use again.Having purchased a cheese package from Wildes Cheese in the past with no issues, I ordered the same package to be delivered to my family home in time for Christmas. The cheese arrived a day later than expected, not a problem as it arrived on the 24th December. On Christmas day we opened it to find all of the cheese within the box was inedible. I've added some pictures which clearly highlight their condition and I promise these were the pictures taken on Christmas Day.You can even see fur growing on one of them. Again, because I know how great the cheese was beforehand, i emailed Wildes Cheese that day along with the pics stating that it was probably due to the cheese having arrived a day late and maybe not stored correctly and asked if it could be replaced at another time later in the year. I headed home on the 28th and received a reply on the 29th asking for me to send back the box of inedible cheese so they could investigate.Unfortunately i didn't take the cheese home with me, nor was I willing to stand in a queue in a post office during a pandemic and pay for the package to be sent back. I hoped the pictures would be sufficent that the cheese was rotten. No reply after chasing twice to then receive an email at 9pm last night stating that if i am unable to return the cheese they are not able to help and their is nothing more they can do.I think this is possibly the worst level of customer service I have ever encountered and feel it is incredibly shortsighted of Wildes Cheese not to have the decency to replace products that are obviously inedible. There are so many amazing British cheese mongers out there, if i was you i wouldn't take the risk and choose someone else to purchase from.----------------------------------------------I feel ridiculous even having to write this. But due to the response below i have now added an image with dates of when i had to chase for a response. I've been made to seem like i lied about this which is unfair. This has been completely blown out of proportion. I obviously stored the cheese in the fridge like any other normal person would and unfortunately once i recieved a reply on the 29th had thrown the cheese away. You can decide for yourself from the pictures supplied whether you think the cheese looks edible. If i was the owner of this business, i would have apologised that my product was not edible and sent a replacement later on in the year. Job done and i've kept a customer. Instead, they've now lost a customer and now have a poor rating, and i've had to spend my time being one of those people that i would normally hate. This is the first review i've ever written like this and hope it will be the last.

Me and my girlfriend did the Halloumi course and it was great fun and really interesting. The Wildes cheese fellas were a great laugh and a really welcoming bunch of legends. Would definitely recommend, London needs more people like this!
