FIRST CALL GAS
Great find this company! Covers my boiler for only £9.99 a month. Called them out and they came the same day and fixed my boiler, swiftly and easily. Office staff extremely obliging and very easy to get hold of. Great local company. Would recommend them any day :)

Absolute con artistsWill use every trick in the book to weasel out of doing work if they show up at allTheir 'premier cover plan' isn't worth the paper it's written on. They will refuse to cover the radiators and boiler or even though their advert clearly states they cover the whole system. Then use the excuse that they are a small company and its all so expensive. They are happy to take the money tho. Theyll just outright lie to you about their terms and conditions. Stay away. Shocking company

Absolutely First Class from start to finish. We have recently had our combination boiler serviced in line with the manufacturers guarantee. From booking the appointment with the office to the engineer coming out everything was taking care off. Polite, prompt & professional. It’s refreshing in this day & age that a company still value old fashioned service, by turning up on time & doing the work promised in a tidy, safe & professional manner.I’m happy to recommend First Call Gas.

Boiler problems last winter in the very cold spell. Appalling service.Took days to attend. 3 different engineers in total. Told nothing wrong with boiler.Engineer with bad attitude.Another found the problem but did no repair. Only got fixed when it stopped working the next day.

Worst customer service ever. We have been waiting 7 weeks to actually get an engineer out - which by the way still has not happened. However, we have had several ‘promised’ appointments. All missed appointments myself or my parents have stayed home for majority of the day waiting for an engineer to attend. There was not one phone call made to notify us that no one would be attending, each time I have had to call to chase. It is an ongoing cycle of disappointment and false promises. Recommend looking elsewhere for gas/boiler issues.

I've always found everyone (from office staff to engineers) at First Call Gas friendly, efficient and committed to first-class customer service. They submitted a very competitive quote for a new boiler and the installation went very smoothly. Would definitely recommend.

Having bought a new house after 1 year the boiler was losing pressure every day ... Not sure who to trust I decided to call a local company (having seen the vans out and about in the area) really pleased I did. Very responsive on email conversations and arrived when promised. No messing around and fixed at the cost of the initial call out fee- no sales pitch to persuade us to get a new one - in fact said how good it was and how it looked in very good condition! Nice genuine guy too. Would use again! So pleased to help a local company too.

My mum took out a policy with First Call Ltd around 4 years ago 2016 maintaining payments every year. October 2021 a drip was coming from the boiler and First Call was contacted. On the first visit the engineer came out and said a part was needed and this was ordered on initially inspection. First Call then came out a few weeks later and fitted the new part stating that this would cure the issue. However a couple of days later the drip started again and they came out yet again. First Call came and checked the boiler taking off the first part what was fitted and replaced it with another part. A few days later after the third occasion of looking at this drip and replacing the supposed part twice the problem still continued. My mum called First Call again and the most recent visit was Monday 20th December 2021 whereby an engineer came out sealed and checked the area. It was ok for 5 days but the drip has started again. Another call will have to be made for a fifth visit to be made! My mums house was only built in 2013 but yet First Call are hinting for my mum to think about a new boiler, maybe because they can't fix it. My mums policy is now due January 2022 but why would you renew a policy when it's clear First Call are incompetent of repairing a drip". Please consider when taking out a policy with this company."

I had boiler cover with first call for nearly 3 years and not needed to call them for any breakdown, and when I had a problem and needed an engineer who came and looked at the work and said the boiler repair cost is too much and refused to do any work. What is the point of having.boiler cover when they can't repair it when you need it repaired. So I would advise people not to have boiler cover with first call.

I had a boiler cover for my house nad my father house about 5 years ago. I was very disappointed when my boiler was broken down I called them and enginer came and told me they can't fix it because the parts are expensive so you have to look for new boiler. When I tried to cancel the direct debit they said they will put my name into black list very bad company to go with. They always try to push u up for new boiler to buy from them.
