No chips on Menu???????? Thats a first for any takeaway I know. Stopped me ordering a meal this evening, as my children wanted chips and a choice of simple english extras would have been good for them too, like sausage or pie. No english???? Thats also a first for any chinese takeaway I know.

I ordered beef with mushroom and it came as mushroom in beef gravy and when I called back they said thats what beef with mushroom was and hung up. On top of that the prawn crackers where stale and chewy. It gets 2 stars because everybody else's order was right and okay

Tried a dish tonight that not on the printed menu great for kids who dont like sauce the crispy smoked chicken a bit like shredded chicken but in breadcrumbs i also love the Singapore fried rice the salt and pepper ribs with extra chillis and sauce. Hong kong style chicken also lovely

The best Chinese ever, never fail with my order, the food is amazing, I love chicken chow mein with broccoli, iv been ordering from these for the best part of 3 years now can't fault them, lovely people too

Don't normally leave reviews but this abomination that we've just brought home and opened up has changed that. Yang chow friend rice looks and tastes like it's been deep fried in diesel, the salt and pepper box" contains no salt and pepper (seriously) it's just chips and greasy cheap chicken and ribs

Happy Family is my goto for takeaway as they're just about a 5 minute walk away and seem like nice enough people. They're hit or miss, though. Generally, my order goes fine most times (99% of the time, I get the same thing.) but, for example, tonight I was made to wait over an hour for prawn chow mein that wasn't very good (I'd also asked for small shrimp instead.) and battered prawn balls that were actually pork (as someone trying to eat less meat) and a bit hard. A few times, my order was not correct. Not absolutely horrible, but yeah.

Everything was stale as though it had been microwaved a few times over. Even the chips. I rang up and told them.. they said sorry they will 're cook it another time. I said no asked for a refund and for the driver to take the food back, so if the driver turns back up with a refund I will change to 3 stars as the food was bad but customer service will be fair. (Came back with refund)

Waited 2 and a half hours for food, called numerous times and was informed the food was on its way. Called for the third time and was informed that they were busy and the food would be delivered when the driver was back. Food arrived,. It was cold and there was missing items.

We were given 7 free" spring rolls yet I paid £3 for these and there were supposed to be 8. I did not get my £3 back.The chips were overdone to the colour brown.Food was late by 15mins after being extended last minute when I put my order in 4hrs before.Not happy with this experience."
