The staff have always been good, been going for many years.. A few members go above and beyond and all work hard. I take my mum and uncle for breakfast and accessibility is ideal, good value for money and very prompt, some lovely locals who give it a nice atmosphere

The Carousel Brewers Fayre
Thought we would try again after they have revamped the restaurant as had a bad experience last time. Unfortunately same again, £52 for 3 main meals all frozen rubbish and 3 drinks. Missing food which when pointed out was shrugged off as it was apparently out of stock. Could have informed us when ordering?? Nearly £14 for a burger and a few frozen chips. Photo below with what i got, then what i got today for the same price elsewhere. Never again.

Our starters were lovely, although I had a problem with one of our main meals, it was soon rectified and the replacement was cooked lovely... and was given a complimentary dessert as an apology . Cant fault the staff as they all were very friendly and polite.. great customer service. We had a voucher for 2 courses for £10 and was even able to use my voucher from my bonus card points for a free bottle of wine so got a nice evening out for only £20.. would recommend the Scarborough restaurant

Food was served hot and was good although for what we had took a long time to come from kitchen. Service was not great, one staff member appearing very 'over familiar' another brought food from kitchen and although empty plates and dishes on next tables, walked off empty handed, maybe multitasking not on the agenda?!Our lengthy wait was supposedly due to a booking for 45 people - but there were no big groups evident in the restaurant, so feel this was a made up excuse for poor service. Small children were around the stairwell making excessive noise and laying on the floor with no evidence of this being monitored by parents, staff or management. Not a pleasant experience, maybe just 1 step up from a local JDW?!

Just spent 3 nights in Scarborough and ate here 3 times, 2 adults & 3 grandchildren. The staff are amazing, from arriving we were greeted with friendly smiles. The staff were so polite and very enthusiastic and efficient. The service and food was lovely.. a very smart and clean pub.

Felt sorry for the only bar staff member he was great under a lot of pressure, the manager on shift should have got stuck in and helped serve then the wait to be served wouldn't have been 15mins plus! Christmas turkey meal was awful. Sprouts and potatoes rock solid, left most of it.

Thoroughly enjoyed eating here staff were excellent and the food was lovely. Can be quiet some nights so you can get away and have a peaceful dining experience.

We came here for a big family meal- I remember there being disappointment at the Sunday Carvery having sold out, but I can’t remember what main I ordered instead! I did indulge in a lovely Chocolate Layered Torte, though.I wasn’t pleased when one of the bar tenders said I couldn’t mix cocktails in the offer, but another allowed my cousins to do so. Despite this, I still enjoyed my Blue Lagoons, and the Raspberry & Blood Orange Spritz I had before them was also a treat.

Quiet waited 45mins for food came out was extremely disappointing and requested refund, even my granddaughter who's 4 wouldn't have the burger took one bite and said don't like its dry and like play doh". Ordered smothered chicken and charged £10.49 . Pics attached. Other people complained and got refunds also."

The Carousel Brewers Fayre
As a solo traveller I ate here last night. The service was friendly enough without being intrusive. I had the Sirloin steak with a nice glass of red wine. My steak was cooked perfectly to my liking, something more expensive restaurants sometimes get wrong. The steak was tender and juicy and flavourful enough for the price. It came with skin on fries, onion rings, peas and a grilled tomato, all of which were cooked well. The wine was the perfect accompaniment. Overall a good experience and I would eat here again.
