Tuffnells Parcels Express

Absolutely disgusted with these cowboys. I managed to get a £600 refund for my mum and dad for a rising recliner and careco.co.uk sent out a box for the chair to go back in. I arrived at my parents to find a broken box with holes in and in a hell of a state that not only cost me £10 in Gaffa tape, but took my brother and I an hour to repair and repackage properly. If the drivers had more care and didn’t treat the roads like Silverstone race track maybe this sort of thing wouldn’t happen. Despicable quality of service and blatant lack of care for their customer.

I have been sending parcels to companies and individuals for 10 years and tuffnells was recently added to interparcel as an option to send larger parcels.Every parcel I have booked with Tuffnells has been a complete headache.The day they are booked to collect is hit and miss as to whether they do then up.There is no reliable tracking at all .I am currently trying to locate a large parcel that has somehow disappeared and appears lost.Plymouth depot have been no use at all and have made no attempt to reassure or to help....other than passing me on to the national customer service which has proved to be equally useless.I could not recommend this company in any way at all.Their advertising indicates how important the customer is to them......when you have asked them to help you with a parcel they have lost its obvious how inaccurate this is!I will never use tuffnells again and would advise any potential customers to look elsewhere. Inefficient, unreliable and completely unprofessional in their practice and attitude.

AVOID THIS COMPANY COMPLETELY! They were meant to deliver underlay to me which didn’t arrive.They tried to pretend they were delivered, but as there was no delivery, no prppf of delivery, and video footage showing no delivery at the property or street had taken place, they had to issue a refund. Be very careful when using this courier. Absolutely disgusting company.

I will never use Tuffnells parcel express again!! We order a cot and had 2 part 1s of the cot delivered due to Tuffnells labelling the boxes incorrectly even though the seller had labelled them with different names and addresses on. On speaking to Ivybridge a few times just to get the parcels swapped was extremely difficult poor customer service and they would not admit fault. They then took one of the parcels away and tried to redelivery the next day, that same parcel. The driver had told us he had told the manager at Ivybridge depot it was the same incorrect one,the manager said ’just delivery it to them anyway to try and get rid of it’ - great service NOT!! They then lied about picking it up 3 weeks LATER and in the end we had to use a different courier!!! Me and the seller had been in contact throughout this situation and he to had struggled to fix the issue with tuffnells and was badly treated on the phone. !! Very poor service will never use again!!

phone number is hiding !no one wants to talk to you !even when you eventually get hold of someone , they haven't got a clue about anything and want to put the phone down as quickly as possible !that is all a big signs of ... to be avoided " company !that's the company you DON'T want to work for or deal with as a customer either ."

I ordered some astroturf and was told by the supplier that the product would be with me the week before it actually did. When the driver came to deliver the product the week after they left a voicemail saying they had left it outside on the front lawn. I returned the call and said I didnt want this and they must take it back and deliver it 2 days later when I return from work otherwise it would be left outside for 2 days. The driver took it back and this was recorded but the next day a different driver took it to my home and left it outside anyway, so it was left out for 24hours unattended, after I explicitly said that I didnt want that. When I called up to complain they refused to offer any compensation for this but offered an apology instead.

Ordered a door from leader doors, paid a delivery charge and arranged a day i as off to receive it.No attempt was made, no calling card, have no idea what depot it came from, or where it us, or when it will next be delivered. No way of contacting them and font delivery weekends, despite saying they gave a 24/7 delivery service. Leader doors also closed until Monday would not recommend tuffnells they have my paid for item God's know where probably getting damp and warped

I was told by a very helpful chap at the plymouth tuffnells depot I could drop a large fragile parcel (an antique wash basin) off at the depot that had been booked online. After taking time off work to wrap and transport the awkward and heavy parcel I returned to the depot to drop it off as arranged. On arrival I was told by Traffic Manager Samantha Alexander that this was not allowed and i would have to return the next day. The previous person assured me that day was absolutely fine to drop it off.On returning the following day I was promised it would be covered in Fragile Tape and good care taken of it.The recipient phoned a couple of days later to report that it had arrived damaged and had clearly been dropped, the enamel coating had been chipped in 3 different places and no fragile tape was on the packing as promised.Appalling service all round, would never use again and never recommend.

SHOCKINGLY TERRIBLE! Tuffnells have sent me a message every day saying my parcel is out for delivery for 4 days now. I have been at home all day, and Tuffnells were a no-show. The seller paid for a next day service. There is no way for me to phone Tuffnells to find out what is going on as they don't have any phone details on their website. I have emailed them to find out what is happening, but got no response. I could have picked it up from the depot in this time but I have no way to contact them. ABSOLUTE COWBOYS taking money for next day delivery and not showing up.

The woman at the end of the phone really couldn’t care less. Clearly doesn’t want to be there and is unhelpful as possible.Give her a tracking number and if she can’t find it that’s it, claims there’s nothing else she can do.Ask her if she can track by postcode ‘yeh’ but she doesn’t tell you that because that would be helpful.Ask her if there’s anyway she can tell you what number drop your items are “no”.Possibly the worst customer service ever.
