Astbury Villa Caravan Park

Site location right by a very busy 40mph main road.Just 1 unisex toilet for the entire site in a cold, drafty outside shed with a permanently wet floor. The rather small wash basin has no functioning hot tap.There is just 1 unisex shower for the entire site again in a cold, drafty outside shed and we never even used it particularly as the site manager expressed reluctance to provide heating.Absolutely no provision for washing up dishes cutlery etc.Absolutely no WiFi reception anywhere yet we were provided with the access code and our motorhome was positioned just 25 meters from the main office and residence.Chemical and brown water disposal very small, broken and awkwardly placed to avoid splashback.The only realistic positives were fairly spirit level flat pitch with electric hook-up overlooking a pond with an impressive plethora of wild bird species.Hence rather a disappointment when all the other reviews gave us the impression of it being the perfect location.

Lovely nice quite site

A small but picturesque site enclosed bt trees with it's own large pond, a haven and back enough from the main road which gives easy assess to the delights and history of Chester. Lovely friendly staff and Jack their dog.

Very helpful owner, secure and close to chester

Small,peaceful park, hosts very friendly and helpful, 2 grassed fields with electric hookup and an area of hard standing. Very close to Chester for all our shopping needs. A place we will visit on a regular basis. Very happy with this site.

Enjoyed this lovely countryside site with pond, ducks and donkey to keep us company while parked up with our motorhome. Had the vibe of a rural French site - very well kept and Tony couldn’t do enough to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The toilet and shower met our needs well. Would highly recommend.

Lovely site, only one toilet but lovely and clean, one shower also clean but no heating, cost £1 plenty of time to shower. The people who run the site are so nice and helpful.

Great stopover in November 2023 on hard standing, great helpful owner. It was darn cold when we stayed even the aquaroll and wastemaster froze. The only neg is the visibility splay when exiting the site, in my car my nose actually has to be on the carriageway (50 mph) before I can see traffic, really scary, probably be able to see in a motorhome OK though.
