Never been here before but was really nice to go in and see and read the history. Nice place to take children and also do photos.. would recommend this is down Westgate Street in Gloucester just on the side street leading to Gloucester Cathedral

A fabulous building full of quaint treasures of Beatrix Potter, including a mock up of the room from the book. It’s very full, joyously cramped and plenty to see with a small gift shop. Worth every moment being in there.

A pure delight. If you grew up with the tales of Beatrix Potter this feels so much like stepping into the tailor of Gloucester's actual shop. It's a real gem of a place with a lovely museum all about Beatrix Potter. The staff are also very friendly.

Wonderful little shop and museum. Lovely product selection, amazingly-reasonable prices. We deliberately planned our route through England and Wales just to stop at this shop, and it was absolutely worth it.

The House Of The Tailor Of Gloucester
Such a lovely place dedicated to Beatrix Potter, the author of The Tales of Peter Rabbit books. Located in a narrow street, this hidden jem is full of history. Small shop full of Peter Rabbit items, with cute little details such as knitted mise hidden under tea cups. There is also a TV where kids can sit and watch the animation. On the second floor there is a little museum. The lady at the shop was very friendly.

Beautiful lovely shop with small museum on the second floor. The shop keeper was lovely and explained us the story of Beatrix potter and one of the stories that was based in gloucester and this shop! It was quite busy but worth to come in :)
