The young man who served me today was very personable and helpful. This has not always been the case in Yarm Waterstones with some staff being very unhelpful but today.. 26/10 but the members of staff were very helpful. Thank you.

Staff couldn't be more helpful and patient with my 2 children who were spending gift vouchers. Helped find the books they wanted and printed out lists of the series so they knew which ones to get. Fantastic experience.

Lovley place and great service. However, it's quite small so not much selection. Sometimes they have book signings- usually cooking books. I think they have a book club there. I enjoy going there after a coffee in one of the cafes in Yarm.

Great little gem to have on the high Street. Fantastic selection of books and staff ate really helpful when making recommendations.

Ordered a book on-line and it had defaulted to be picked up from Yarm, instead of York. I phoned the store and spoke to Anna, who was fantastic, very friendly, went above and beyond, and she posted the book out to me. I was so grateful, so Thankyou Anna :-)

I had pre-ordered a children's book for collection and arrived at the store at 17:23 to find the door locked and staff stood around. I knocked on the door and was ignored by the staff who then went to the back room out of sight. The store clearly states that they are open until 17:30 so I am perplexed as to why this would happen. I was left with a very disappointed child having left my place of work early to be there in good time. Poor service.
