There aren't enough stars to give. We started the process of finding a home in Scotland to relocate home from Ireland, just a week or two before covid appeared in the world. Karen and Marlene understood we'd have to put it on hold and so when we picked it back up almost a year later, they were ready to help. We ended up buying a home we handed seen in person, in an area we'd never visited aside from on Google maps, at a time when the Scottish housing market had gone wild. Karen could not have done more had she gone and physically viewed the house for us. I'm not joking. Without her hardwork and tenacity, her knowledge of the market and her savvy skills, we would have been in rented accommodation looking for and missing out on houses right now. As it stands, I write this from my beautiful new home which I couldn't be happier with. In twenty years of buying and selling homes, I have never had such great service and I have paid an awful lot more for so much less. I didn't haven't one new grey hair or one sleepless night thanks to Karen and her team. Don't look anywhere else, they will work tirelessly for you. I can't thank them enough.

I cannot recommend Katharine Smith of Blackadders highly enough! The purchase of our home was difficult to say the least but Katharine went above and beyond what was expected of her to get the job done... contacting a Cabinet Minister to open the Registers of Scotland office on our behalf is just one example! Blackadders, and in particular, Katharine Smith dealt with the conveyancing for both the sale, and purchase, of 2 of my properties. I found her to be professional and informative throughout the process which enabled a couple of complicated transactions to complete on the same day saving me thousands of pounds! I needed a lawyer because I wanted to put in an offer on a property. I really didn't expect much, I honesty didn't even think I would get past the offer stage but to my surprise my offer was accepted. Stefan Docherty basically held my hand from the note of interest to completion. He explained everything at every step, what to expect going forward, answered every one of my emails faster than I expected. I felt like his only client the whole way through. Very unprofessional outfit responded to requests of one their clients Glasgow office harrassed us consitently up till 23.40 at night in respect of a meeting that they informed us about the next day ,but actually as it turns out their clients cancelled, they must have been still at wine bar and lonely.. We shall in terms of section B4 of Law Society Rules require Now their clients to meet the expense of sober legal agent they can muck aboutGarrows Law they are not . Anyone idea which watering hole they frequent so we can give it a body swerve

Katharine Smith provided a great service in every way during a recent property purchase. I was extremely appreciative of the responsive and straightforward communication style of Katharine, making easy work of explaining the legal jargon in layman terms, when required.
