Ed was amazing. Ed helped me get back into shape after having my second baby. He's very professional and sensitive to my needs. He's very motivational and is very personable. A really good PT. I would most definitely recommend him! He's brilliant.

Let's be very honest here - I really don't like strenuous exercise. I never have, and I probably never will. But I do like my creature comforts, not least among them being the occasional takeaway meal and the more-than-occasional pint of good beer. Ed's task therefore is simple - find a way to get me to remain reasonably fit without prescribing 10-mile runs or daily workouts, thus allowing me to continue to indulge myself without either keeling over or having to upsize my wardrobe every twelve months. To his credit, Ed has risen to the challenge with his trademark good humour and quiet determination. Sessions are fitted-in around my schedule once or twice a week, and can be at home, at the gym, indoors or outside. We agree some goals for the next 6-12 months, and Ed then creates an outline fitness and diet plan (with plenty of variation options to avoid tedium). And then he gently encourages me to stick to it. Over several years, we have at different times focused on weight reduction, body shape and self-confidence. I've learned a lot, overcome a lifelong horror of working-out in public, and seen great improvements (all with minimal pain!).And the next 6-12 month plan? Well, lockdown has been a bit of a challenge for the waistline, so our next goal is some serious weight reduction (without sacrificing the beer, of course). Ed was - as always - the consummate professional when I broke the news of his next objective to him. This could be his greatest challenge to date, but he is taking it all in his stride...

I've been working with Ed for over 5 years and would thoroughly recommend him as a PT. Ed is quick to understand your drive, motivations and capabilities and is able to tailor every single work-out to fit your exact needs on the day. He'll challenge you, but only within your abilities to push you to achieve your best potential each time. Ed brings equipment to your house to suit your needs and will quickly help you get to grips with how to use it, but the majority of movements can be done using your own bodyweight and practised in your own time too. Ed's a highly qualified PT but with an excellent creative edge too, so no two weeks feel the same and he's an easy-going person to get on with, to always put you at ease. He's extremely reliable and adaptable, so I'd recommend him if you're looking to improve your health, fitness and well-being.
