Been in here a few times. Sometimes it’s really busy but the staff are great and deal with everything calmly. Food and drinks are really good value too.

Lovely modern cozy place to sit and have a coffee, cake, or maybe some food. Prices are quiet expensive, but this is to be expected because of the location. Staff are pleasant and polite!

The food was good, £3 for a panini with free sides is decent.

I do quite enjoy the food here. Disappointed that my favourite item was removed (falafel flatbread incase you were wondering). However, everything else I have tried is nice. Plain and functional - mostly because it's a council owned building. Prices are fairly reasonable

I asked for help with what's in rhe food and how much calories in cakes no staff did not no and there was no information about food and staff did not no there is not a lot for pepole who has lost weight and looking for a treat and there Notting to say what u looking for in this world we live in there should be help are the staff should no instead just sell in don't care about people should be more opinions I seem I lot pepole as I sat haven a drink and there no care just get rid much as u can this is the sunderland city couli and I thought is was making well been about pepole health and give pepole a choice but it just full of over priced fat foods Notting for pepole who work hard trying the best that's the thing with sunderland Notting nice to eat this is my 1st vist in the city Hall so I would like to see what are u putting in your body fats sungers cals etc and more opinions for people who what work hard and like treat but a healthy one every were u go fat foods are in your face always why but I just saying be nice give pepole opinion and I had put star but it would be no star for food

One the best cafes I’ve visited in a long time, woman behind the counter was lovely although I didn’t catch her name. coffee was great and there was plenty of comfortable seating throughout. will definitely be back.
