Beautiful lake to run, walk or bike around, but unfortunately the beach has been filled in due to people flaunting rules about swimming there. Shame.

Get there early if you want a space. I'd say this place is the New Ferry Meadows as it's free. We cycle there and continue onto Crown Lakes. I feel sorry for the residents as most of the people who visit do not live there. Expect lots of rubbish. It's a nice place for a short visit but gets very busy.
